Simply book your tickets ahead of time, present your passport, and you can pass through the checkpoint to enter the square. There are two main entrances:

1. Take the subway to the northeast exit of Tiananmen West station, use exit B, and walk for just five minutes after exiting!

2. For the east side entrance, after getting off at the southeast exit of Tiananmen East subway station, use exit C, and you can walk for five minutes to reach it!
