Travel Overnight by Train from Beijing to Xi’an

Beijing West Railway Station - A friendly driver will collect you from your Beijing hotel at 6:45 p.m. and drive you approximately 40 minutes to Beijing West Railway Station to board your overnight train to Xi’an. The driver will assist in obtaining your pre-purchased train tickets and guide you to the waiting area.

The Museum of Qin Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses - Upon arrival in Xi’an, your local guide and driver will meet you at the train station and take you to the Museum of Qin Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses, which is about an hour’s drive away. The Terra-Cotta Warriors and Horses are among the most remarkable and important archaeological discoveries, dating back 2,000 years. As one of the most significant archaeological finds of the 20th century and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Terra-cotta Army is a must-see for every visitor to Xi’an.

Xi’an City Wall (Chengqiang) - After enjoying a delicious local lunch, you will be taken to the renowned Ancient City Wall of Xi’an. Situated in the heart of Xi’an, the City Wall is one of the oldest, largest, and best-preserved city walls in China. Spend some time atop the City Wall with your tour guide. Riding a bike is also a fun option (optional for you). If your tour concludes in Xi’an, you will be transferred to your downtown Xi’an hotel after the tour.

Railway Station Tunnel West Crossing - After the tour, you will be taken back to Xi’an Railway Station to catch your overnight train returning to Beijing.
