Meet your English-speaking driver in the lobby of your Beijing hotel in the morning, then set off for the Temple of Heaven. The best time to visit is in the morning to see local senior citizens exercising, practicing Tai Chi, playing shuttlecock, singing, dancing, or doing ground calligraphy. After an hour of walking in the Temple of Heaven, continue to Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City.
