Highly Recommended - In January 2023 I took Zingy tours Bcharre, Qadisha Valley and Cedars tour (one day) and on another day the Jeita Grotto, Harissa and Byblos tour I was lucky enough to have Mahdi as a driver and everything was excellent! The attractions were brilliant and Mahdi was a great guy, very good company (it was just he and I) and a terrific driver. I really appreciated the chance to have a good chat with a local and learnt a lot about Lebanon from talking to Mahdi. Everywhere it was good to have one, a superb knowledgeable guide was arranged for me. I’d particularly like to thank ski instructor Pierre who guided me to walk down into the Qadisha Valley and at the Cedar forest. Another really nice guy. Very enjoyable and memorable days Heartily recommended - six stars!

Visit to Khalil Gibran Museum in Bcharre - Bcharre is the hometown of the famous Lebanese poet Khalil Gibran whose poetry and artwork reflects his upbringing in Lebanon's mountains. The museum itself is a 19th century monastery that was cut straight into the rock. The exhibition consists mostly of Gibran's paintings and snippets of his original poetry,. Entrance to the museum costs just 200,000 LBP ,but it is closed on Mondays.

Amazing Day out to a facsinating historic place - Stunning, beautiful journey into the heart of mt Lebanon, We had a brief stop for a light morning snack as we were given warning that we weren't due to eat until the afternoon. This provided a short stretch, a snack/toilet or smoke break. the first stop at the Gibran museum allows you a quick insight into the life of this influential Lebanese writer, the museum is an old monastery built into some caves. I appreciate that this kinda detour may not be for everyone, but I was certainly glad it was on the way. The second stop is the 'Cedars of God' which is the last remaining outcrop of Lebanese Cedars actually On Mt Lebanon, while nothing compared to its former glory, you can see the conservation work happening in the mountains, and the park itself offers some absolutely stunning views. These trees and this mountain range was written about in the Epic of gilgamesh and is such an exciting historic place in human history. Unfortunately my group had a reduced time at the cedars, but this was due to an unforseen circumstance causing a lot of traffic on the road from Beirut, so the time we had here was dramatically shortened (we had just 45 minutes compared to the 1.5-2hrs normally afforded). This wasn't any fault to the tour operators and so can't really penalise them for it. There are plenty of carved cedar merchandise nearby also so you can get a piece of the history and support the local area too. Our lunch was absolutely amazing, we stopped at an amazing restaurant with amazing views, and amazing food. Sharing plates of mixed salad, Tabbouleh, Kibbeh, flat bread, hummous, grilled meats, beer/softdrinks finished off with some mixed fruits. (I would warn that the honeyed figs are super amazing but so sweet that everything after becomes tasteless XD) Then we travelled down the valley to the Monastery of Saint Antonio, you can see the original cave where the early christians hid from persecution, which later developed into a monastery, absolutely stunning views and architecture. Unfortunately, I dont think this trip is good for children, but for couples, friends, solo etc, this kind of venture is a must if you are in Lebanon. The on my trip to both the cedars and to Baalbek, the guides were friendly, funny, informative, knowledgeable, kind, hospitable and approachable. They gave local information of the towns and locations while we travelled through Lebanon as well as giving a broader view of the country's history,

Great trip to Northern Lebanon - Great trip to Northern Lebanon. While the cedars are nice, the Qozhaya Valley was really spectacular. It was great to see how green that part of the country is. The monastery was also very cool. Definitely worth the trip.

Great Tour - This tour was ok - a long day in the bus stopping at the Kahlil Gibran Museum, which was alright, the cedars is actually only a short walk through the trees, nothing too spectacular, then a trip to a monastery followed by lunch which was very good, even for vegans.
