Enlightening & entertaining, the Best Tour of our Trip - One of the best tours of my life and our whole family agreed it was the best tour of our trip. Gerard McGlade delivered a thought-provoking, enlightening, head-spinning tour filled with passionate, outstanding storytelling that included first-hand personal accounts of what he, his family, friends, and community lived through while also giving us a 900 year history lesson. He was thorough and interesting, while giving us a much better understanding of what happened. We appreciated the evidence, photos, murals, newspapers, etc, that painted a vivid picture. While a serious topic, Gerard made it entertaining and gave hope for the future. We appreciated his ability to explain a complicated subject while making us think about our own perspective about the world around us. It was an eye-opening, fantastic afternoon that flew by. I looked at other tour operators before choosing Gerard and I can tell you I choose wisely. Look no further, book Gerard and his company now... he will NOT disappoint!

Sensitive, informative tour - What could be a possibly divisive and very emotional tour for some was sensitively done
The history of the troubles were presented in an even handed way

Driver never showed up but there was an immediate apology and a complete refund of our deposit.. - I would like to amend my previous negative review of Belfast Attractions Taxi Tours. I was subsequently contacted by the individual who was scheduled to meet us at our hotel. There had been a death in the family and they sent me a profound apology for not showing up and processed a complete refund of our deposit.

Helping to understand the Troubles - An extremely interesting and enlightening tour.
Brendan (my driver) was extremely knowledgable, and went out of his way to explain everything. His narration was comprehensive, unbiased and full of little insights that I had never heard of or even thought of. He was also helpful in correcting some of the things I thought I knew.
All in all, a very enjoyable and informative two hours.

Colourful tour that goes above and beyond, to explain and bring recent history in Northern Ireland to life. - Very interesting and informative. Brendan (our guide) knew his subject inside out and there was no question he couldn't answer! It really brought the recent history of Belfast to life and gave you insight into how people's lives have been and continue to be effected. There were many fascinating facts and the murals were amazing. Would strongly recommend this tour.

A Must-do when in Balfast - It was a highlight of my week in Northern Ireland. My driver was Mal, who was informative and highly engaging. The tour showed the gritty reality of the Troubles' legacy. It was sad, poignant, emotional, and engaging. Mal made me feel like a witness to history as he expertly wove the threads of the past going back more than 100 years into a superlative narrative.
