Best part of our trip, a must do! - This tour was absolutely amazing and great value for money. Mark was so informative and gave a great rundown of the troubles from both perspectives. He was polite, friendly and professional. Would 100% recommend.

Murals Tour by NI Black Taxis July 2024 - We booked our trip on route from Dublin Friday morning & Mark our guide fitted us in for a 12pm appointment from a convenient collection point at the Shankill Leisure Centre. It helped that it was a lovely warm sunny day & the place was buzzing with tourists & other Black Taxi tours, which all added to the experience. Mark was brilliant. He is from the area around Shankill Rd. & Falls Rd. & was so knowledgeable in his understanding & relaying of this part of Northern Ireland's & Belfast's history. He explained the social & political history of the area from the past 400 years or so. It is brilliant to see the area & the city of Belfast embracing it's cultural history & allowing tourists the opportunity to experience the past in a well managed & orgniased way. We could not express our appreciation to Mark for his fantastic way of explaining the past life experiences of the people of Belfast & in particular the communities along the Shankill & Falls Rds. We would highly recomment booking a tour with the NI Black Taxi Tours Group. Many thanks again. (MaryAnne, Lily, Seán & Taz)

Highly recommend!! - Last minute day out planned with my partner and eldest son, I contacted NI Black Taxis Tours at 09:25am and Mark kindly booked us in for a tour at 2pm the same day. Pickup was arranged for handiness to our car which was excellent. We were met by our guide Cecil who was so dead on from the get go! Tour was informative, interesting and very enjoyable. Easy 5star rating from us we all thoroughly enjoyed, thank you NI Black Taxis Tours.

For anyone who wants to know the history of Belfast and its unrest - We did the political tour of Belfast. Our driver, Robert, was awesome. He clearly explained the events that happened and patiently answered any questions we had. He also stopped along the way at different locations to let us take photos. At the peace wall he provided us with a marker so we could sign it.

Wonderful Use of 90 Minutes! - We were lucky to have Mark as our guide. He fitted us in a last minute reservation and we are so glad he did! Mark is a native and knows his history! Not only that, he explained the Ireland independence history and what it is like to live in present Belfast. What an interesting, worthwhile, budget-friendly tour!

Thank you Cecil! - Whole process was nothing short of 5 star. We decided late on a morning that we wanted to visit the murals and see the sights of Shankhill/Falls road, by 1pm our taxi was outside of our hotel waiting to take us on the tour. Booked over email and Mark was extremely helpful with any queries etc I had, then our driver Cecil went above and beyond during our tour. Very thorough and detailed information about historic events throughout our black cab tour, extremely informative about the past and accommodating to any questions we had. We were able to get out of the cab at certain points to explore at our own pace, Cecil is an absolute star and would thoroughly recommend to anyone visiting Belfast. Thank you!

Murals Tour by NI Black Taxis - Robert was very interesting and informative. He clearly explained, in detail, a lot about the ‘troubles’, and how they Impacted the lives of people in Belfast at the time and in subsequent decades. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Robert and came away with a much clearer understanding of Belfast’s history.

This is a very sad situation…be prepared to be disturbed - We had some issues with our pick-up which the tour operator quickly remedied. This tour is a bit difficult to take. The troubles our well documented but, we came away depressed that they are still seething below the surface. Guide was great…subject was sad.
