The guides personalize the experience! - A must do to learn the complex history of Belfast. We had Emma as our first guide and she was fantastic. Having been born in Belfast at the start of the most recent period of conflict, she brings in the perspective of someone who was a child during the conflict. Dylan was also a friendly and fantastic driver maneuvering through Belfast traffic! Later we had Brian as our guide and with his numerous years as a tour guide here (we had him when we visited in 2017!), he brings yet another perspective to the tour! Every guide brings a little something different! Stop #1 is right alongside Belfast City Hall. Very easy to find! Make sure you go in City Hall after your Hop On Hop Off to explore the exhibits inside!

Big Micks Tour - If you get the chance go with city tours. And if you get the pleasure of Big Mick as your driver your experience will be a great one . All the drivers were brilliant but But Mick goes the extra mile especially as he's a KFC fan . Keep it up guys loved our time bin belfast Mark &Karen

Great tour - Noel was great very informative, booked the two day pass and it was well worth it. Easy to jump on at Belfast city hall and used the bus ticket to jump in and off at various locations.

Very informative - This is a great way of seeing the main sights of the city. Both buses we used had live commentary from knowledgeable and friendly guides. Bear in mind that tickets can be used on these buses, and on the CitySightseeing buses. They ran about every half hour in February when we went. We learnt lots and it’s a good way of seeing various sights. The only slight niggle is that it would have been useful to know when the next bus was due at each stop (perhaps they could have something online) so we could plan rather than wait at the different stops. I’d definitely recommend this activity.

Hop on hop off tour of Belfast- recorded narration - I have taken this tour 3 times while visiting Belfast. The first time was in 2018 before the pandemic and it was much more extensive with a jaunt to the east when talking about George Best and Van Morrison. At that time there was a love narrator on board. Which was lovely and allowed for more interaction. The next time was 2021 after the pandemic and there was no line commentary at all. This time I went with a friend who had never been to Belfast. It was better than 2021 but I was disappointed in the recording. It didn’t seem to be as detailed and even though the driver added some commentary there wasn’t much additional information provided.

Day on Bus - Lots of time standing and waiting for bus in the cold. The buses didn’t come as often as reported. Staff not that friendly or welcoming.

It was ok but would not do again - The experience differed on each bus, we had a live interactive guide on bus one which was great. Then a recording on the buses after. We were told by a fellow traveler , after two bus a drove by the stop, that we had to wave a brochure! That was not acceptable, we waited over forty minutes! Everything was clean but not clear on the instructions.

Unreliable - Read the other reviews . Absolutely true the buses are not every half an hour and we ended up catching a bus back into town which rather defeats the object. Sightseeing Belfast buses passed us twice in the same time we waited for this company so draw your own conclusions. The only thing this company we’re good at was taking our money and telling us that we would have access to two bus tours that operate but since neither of them ever turned up it was all a bit academic. Seriously rubbish service and one to avoid.

Tour ruined by mis-timed audio descriptions - The audio descriptions of the sites we passed didn't begin until AFTER we passed the places, making them totally useless. It appears that the GPS was triggered after a location, instead of ahead of it. I know the city and was able to begin describing things to my friends until the narration began. But if you took the bus to learn more about the city, you wasted your time and money, since the narration has no relationship to what you're driving by.
