Somber and informative - It was a somber and informative tour. I had a passing knowledge of the stife between the Protestants and Catholics, so it was good learning more about the subject. Our tour guide was also able to speak from his own direct experience from the Troubles.
The guide and tour company were very flexible with their scheduling. I definitely recommend the tour.

Recommended Expirence. - A fellow traveller recommended the tour and we were not disappointed. We expected to see the famous murals and take a few picture which we did. But the tour guide explained the history (without it being a lecture or boring).
We would recommend this tour to others.

Cecil, black cab drive supreme. - Our taxi driver and guide was Cecil. Cecil was an amazing professional and a super good person. He managed to explain the history behind the wall in a way that allowed us to have an honest discussion about a very complex and complicated situation. Many thanks to Cecil for making this an informative and personal tour of events that we all need to learn from. We highly recommend this tour to develop an understanding of community conflict, and Cecil is an excellent guide. In the words of my husband Oddur, "Cecil is the man for this tour". Best 2 hr history lesson in my life - There are several so called Black Taxi tours of Belfast the one I can highly recommend is Blacktaxitours.com and their tel # is 07702060573 book direct as the original booking I made though Tripadvisor never got through and I had to rebook direct for the following day . Ask to be taken on the tour by Brendan . He is a guy who had lived through " the troubles " and gives a totally impartial detailed explanation of everything past and present. I am 73 yrs old and really though I knew everything there was to know about the political and daily life of Belfast and very quickly realized that my understanding and perspective was completely wrong. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Belfast young or old.

Hope, acceptance, diversity, kindness - peace - Learning from a person who lived and breathed the conflicts. Hearing about the people and how it affected them and still impacts their everyday lives. Knowing that mothers and children bring hope for a more inclusive, accepting future for everyone.

Personal history tour - A great tour that had a personal feel to it, with plenty of historical information, explained and shown in a way that really painted a picture of what used to be delivered by a local guide.

Tour - Our guide Patrick was a treat for all ages. My family rages in age from 11 to 74. All had an enjoyable experience. Some have done the tour before but most haven’t. Patrick balanced history for all ages with entertainment.

Highlight of our trip - Myself and my boyfriend did the Black Taxi and Mural tour a few weeks ago. Jimmy was our driver, he was an absolute gentleman, a great laugh and incredibly knowledgeable about the history of the troubles. Jimmy didn't just know everything there is to know about the history of Belfast, you could tell that he deeply cares about the city and its people. It really was the highlight of our stay. Thank you Jimmy!! We'll be recommending you to all of our friends that visit Belfast :)

Belfast Black Taxi Cab, driven and toured by Tom. - Had the tour with Tom and it was brilliant, couldn’t have had asked for a better tour guide. He went through everything in great detail and no complications.

Eddie's Taxi tour was marvelous - We arranged this through the concierge at the Titanic Hotel. It is the best 70 quid you will spend in Belfast . Eddie provided a stimulating, straightforward and unvarnished commentary of the troubles. He answered every question and did not hold back on areas of sensitivity. Loved it. There are a ton of black cab tours. Eddies is hard to beat.
