Run, don’t walk to book this tour! - Arthur held our attention every moment of this 3.5 hour tour of Belfast. Arthur provided detailed commentary on “the Troubles” by highlighting personal stories of those caught up in the tragic events that occurred in the neighborhoods we visited. This was a balanced and humanistic retelling of the events of the conflict and a thoughtful analysis of that history as it permeates the lives in Belfast today. He has A great sense of humour as well.

Good tour - Weather rainy but we all persevered. Lots of interesting places visited. The guide did like to do some name dropping but was entertaining and knowledgeable. Would recommend.

An eye-opener of a tour - Seeing Belfast’s troubled history through Arthur’s eyes was a very rewarding experience. He gives a very balanced view, without being sensational but also being honest about how the city / country was torn apart. He acknowledges that the tensions still exist, but offers hope for the future.

A very real experience - Belfast is an amazing place and its testament to the generosity of the people that they will share their history with others. Hopefully we'll pay attention and learn from this.

What you nee to know about Belfast - It was an excellent walking tour. I learned a lot about culture, history, politics, "the troubles", religions and churches. Arthur tells authentic stories from the past but always makes reference to the present day. He is enthusiastic and humorous and encourages the participants to think along. Highly recommended tour!

Informative, witty and real. - Informative, witty and real. I cannot praise Arthur enough. He grasped the attention of the group and never let go, even through hours of torrential rain and fairly strong winds. Historical knowledge, first hand stories of our history and an edge that didn’t pull any punches on wha daily life was like during the troubles. Can’t recommend enough.

The Best Tour You Will Ever Take - This was one of the best tours I have ever taken. Arthur our tour director presented the past present and hopeful future in a compelling blend of history politics and sociological. I could have listened to him for days. If you take one tour of Belfast it should be this one.
