Authentic tour about The Troubles - I can't imagine a tour being more authentic than this. Our driver/guide was more than happy to share both fact and personal experiences and opinions. We thoroughly enjoyed the time and even had a Gerry Adams sighting at the Sinn Fein offices! The gaol tour is worth the add-on - they have done a great job of explaining the history in an interesting manner.

Highly recommend spending a morning with Cab Tours Belfast Danny H! - A very last minute booking to learn about The Troubles and visit Crumlin Road Gaol. Had an amazing morning with my tour guide Danny H, who was super knowledgable, a true gentleman, and good craic! Booking direct through Cab Tours Belfast ensured as a solo traveller that I also got the best price…and a whole cab tour to myself. Perfect for solo travellers.

Cab tour is a can’t miss! - This was an incredible tour showcasing this city’s history. Danny L (cab driver) was friendly and personable and went above and beyond. Very knowledgeable on the facts and history of the city he was born and raised in. Felt extra special to be with someone so close to The Troubles. The prison tour was also very interesting and informative,

Amazing, a must for Belfast - The Crum was an amazing experience, please leave yourself 3 hours, extremely well put together, very interesting and interactive. The black cab tour, wow what can I say, absolutely amazing, our guide was fantastic very knowledgeable and unbiased. We really felt it's the first time we understood what the troubles actually were in Ireland and how living with it is still effecting everyone to this day. Well worth every penny. Our guide was Tomas. He was extremely personable. He asked us lots of questions to be able to determine what our understanding were. Lovely, lovely man and so very interesting. Thank you so much food for thought, we have all been watching documentaries since we have got home and that just shows how thought provoking the tour was.

A must do! - A really interesting and recommended tour. Danny explained the conflict excitingly and brought the “real” Belfast closer to us. We've been to great but also disturbing spots. Also worth a visit: The Crumlin Road Goal. It is very modern and you get a good impression of life there.

Worth everything penny - Isaac was our driver and he was very pleasant and knowledgeable. There was four of us and the vehicle was very comfortable. We would highly recommend this combo excursion. We were a half an hour early to our meeting point and had the opportunity to meet another Black cab driver /tour guide by the name of Tucker. He also was very pleasant. It was alittle chilly out and he told us to sit in his vehicle to stay warm.

Quite Informative - This was an outstanding tour. Stevie did an excellent job of providing us with information on both sides of the situation. While it is something that is difficult to comprehend, he did his best to answer our questions. And we got the opportunity to see the different areas and learn about what each one represents. The cab was comfortable and you were never inside of it for too long. Plenty of opportunities to get out and walk around (weather permitting). The visit to the Gaol was fascinating as well. They have done an excellent job of making it an interesting visit. And the food was quite good, if you choose to eat while you are there.

Important history lesson for all - My family, husband and two teenage children did the combo trip. Prison and cab tour. Danny was our driver on the cab tour around the Catholic and Protestant areas of Belfast. Really opened our eyes to the turbulent history of the ‘troubles’ - losses on both sides. The Crumb prison was well done and another insight into the history of Belfast,
