The Personal Touch - We met Marti at City Hall on the bank holiday evening and were surprised to find our 'small group' was, in fact, just us two and him. No matter - Marti looked after us very well. An introductory chat and asked us what we were hoping for then ensured we were treated to the 'hidden gems' I requested. Marti is clearly passionate about the city and this came through during the 2.5 hours we spent together. Lots of history, lots of recommendations and overall, a very enjoyable experience. Would not hesitate to recommend Marti, and may look into one of his other tours should we return to Belfast.

Marti was the best - Marti was very knowledgeable - it was a lot of history and 3 hours walking around the city. Marti went above and beyond as we missed the tour due to our calendars reflecting time differences, so Marti made a special effort to meet us the next day and do the tour.

Marti is the key to Belfast! - Our tour with Marti was the best choice we made in Belfast! We were only in town for a day and Marti shared the best of Belfast with us - from street art to architecture to pubs, we experienced a little bit of everything. We will definitely be back to Belfast after everything we learned about. Highly recommend to book a tour with Marti here!

Perfect tour for first time visitors to Belfast! - We very much enjoyed our tour with Marti - he is super well informed and has many interesting stories and asides that are both informative and entertaining. He showed us well-known places and explained their history and context, but also many hidden away treats that really added to the experience. We would thoroughly recommend Marti and his tour! If it is your first time in Belfast this is the ideal tour to take to really get to know the centre of the city, its background and history. Karol & Ian

Well worth it - Our walking tour with Marti was a nice small group of four. Marti does a variety of walking tours (art, eclectic and The Troubles). We chose the eclectic which was a great mix of history, architecture, street art and Marti's unique local experiences. Highly recommended. After the tour he pointed us in the direction of a couple of pubs and used his influence to get us a dinner reservation at a popular spot. When we come back will do the Troubles walk with @belfastologywalkingtours

Best Belfast walking tour hands down - 11/10 would recommend this tour if you want a personalised, eclectic tour of Belfast with a history lesson to boot - Marti, who is local and seems to know everyone in Belfast, is full of facts and quirky stories delivered in his classic Irish humour, we learnt so much and had a fabulous time!

Great tour - Very informative tour. Marti knows his history and relays it in a friendly approach. Despite only being my boyfriend and myself on the tour, we in fact loved this, as Marti tailored the tour to our interests and showed us places you wouldn't see with another guide. Marti is a character!
