Excellent and memorable experience ! - This was such a wonderful tour- that was both educational and moving. I learned so much from the personal stories our tour operator Joe McCullough shared. He truly had the lived experience which told the story in a meaningful and memorable way. My entire family loved this experience and Joe was one of the best tour guides I’ve encountered. Highly recommended!

Storytelling galore - We loved the political mural tour with Tony. He told such a poignant story about the war and destruction that went on during The Troubles. Would recommend to anyone interested. We took lovely photos of the murals.

Do not miss this tour! - This tour is a fascinating way to learn about Belfast; the Troubles, the neighborhood dynamics, and the future of the city. I really felt welcome and Joe met us at our level of knowledge (which was super limited) and kindly shared context and stories that make the stories relevant and impactful. Art is always a way we will express our collective history, and this tour is not-to-be-missed on your trip.

Absolutely incredible tour of Belfast’s complicated history - Coming from the US, I knew almost nothing about the Troubles and that chapter of Irish history. This tour was incredibly informative and moving, and Joe did an excellent job getting across the gritty, double-sided details of the conflict. When he says he loves answering questions, he means it. Ask him whatever comes to your mind, and you’ll likely get his firsthand account of the event in question, because he lived through all of it. Incredible experience, memorable history lesson, and excellent tour guide. I’d do it again in a heartbeat.
