Iron Islands & Giant's Causeway from Belfast - GREAT FUN! - My wife and I did the Iron Islands & Giant’s Causeway from Belfast on July 17 and had a blast. While my wife is not a watcher, she thoroughly enjoyed the day. Our guide was a GOT extra and provided insight on how the scenes were pulled together and the agony that the extras went through in filming. His knowledge of the specific filming locations was outstanding and pointed out how a scene (when Arya fell into the water after the Waif attempted to kill her) jumped from N. Ireland to a warmer climate and being filmed several months apart...it's a long story that I don't recall all details...but trust me, the guide knew his stuff! Wife and I had fun dressing up and play fighting with the swords. This was a highlight for myself in our 2 week trip to Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.

A great day - I had a lot of fun! I’ve never seen GoT before and went with my mum who loves it. But this tour has opened my eyes and I’m now watching it. Andrew was an amazing storyteller and gave us so much information and he was a lot of fun. I really liked that the clips were played before going to the places so we could visualise everything before hand.

Amazing experience! - If you are a big fan of GOT, I strongly recommend you to take this tour with the original Game of Thrones Tours, with Richard Hodgen (extra in Seasons 5 and 6). You will enjoy his comments of every place you visit and the customs, swords and shields are the best!

What is dead may never die! - My husband and I went on this tour for our honeymoon and had the greatest time! Robbie was our guide and he told great stories of his time on set, and really helped us feel immersed in the tour. We would recommend this to anyone who is a huge GoT fan, or just for anyone who wants to see some really beautiful places around Ireland!

Great company, even though our tour was cancelled - I wanted to leave a positive review for Game of Thrones Tours company because even though the tour we booked was unexpectedly cancelled, the customer service was very good. We were notified less than 48 hours before our scheduled tour but the Game of Thrones Tours team member provided a detailed explanation with several options to still have the chance to rebook. We were really disappointed but because we received such thorough information, we were able to book another tour on short notice during our 48 hour stay in Belfast. This team was also very timely about processing our refund and replied quickly to my follow up inquiries. Things happen out of our control, and this company still did the right thing!

Good Tour with Room For Improvement - Tour started off on the wrong foot, itinerary says driver will arrive at 7:15am and leave at 7:30am - our bus arrived at 7:45am due to "traffic" - we called the company at 7:30am as we were worried and the person on the phone said they "normally show up right at 7:30" and didn't seem concerned. Also the itinerary says it will be 10 hours ending at 5:30pm we finished at the Dark Hedges before 3pm and were back before 4pm - after starting the day late. I advise them to adjust the itinerary to reflect accurate timing. The tour guide was very informative and we appreciated the clips and the photos, but at some spots we did feel a bit rushed. Especially the Dark Hedges, we only walked down them once, given we were back over 1.5 hrs early I'm not sure where the time went. The food at the fullerton arms was also not great, two of us had the seafood chowder and it was the worst on the trip. Menu options are much smaller and limited than what is posted online.
