Giants Causeway Tour - Excellent tour, Dave our tour guide was both full of knowledge and was funny which made for a really enjoyable, educational, and fun tour. Took in all the places you would want to see en route, nice lunch stop with Irish stew on the menu and then the main attraction of The Giants Causeway which wasn't a disappointment (even in rainy weather). Would highly recommend this tour.

Don’t miss this experience. - The trip was terrific from beginning to end. Weather was perfect, scenery was amazing, Dave, our driver was funny, personable, more than competent navigating those narrow roads and kept us all greatly entertained to the Giant’s Causeway and back. We would absolutely do this tour again.

Good way to travel when you have moderate mobility issues - Great way to see Antrim coastline. Very glad I brought my friend on it and especially helpful for people with mobility issues. Not sure if there’s a bus for people who use the wheelchair permanently but I brought a friend with arthritis and it was not easy but it could have been so much harder without the bus and friendly driver. Thanks for the good job well done.

Weather dependant your - This is a 9 hour tour! Check In is on victoria street opposite the grand opera house and the coaches are parked beside the opera house on the opposite side of the room. Multiple coaches so have to be vigilant that get on the right coach. Coach- massive,57 seats- one of those tourist coaches, huge numbers of people. Boarding is from 0830 due to the large numbers This is a weather dependent tour as the views are dependant on visibility. Carrigfergus: 15 minutes 0920-0935 Castle , harbour and Toilet stop. Carnlough: 1035- 1100 Small town with a harbour- pretty, not much to do but the scenery. Toilet stop. It’s the location for when Aria stark comes out of the water after being stabbed in game of thrones. Waterford,we drove through. The hedges hotel stop for lunch: 1200-1320, the driver hands out vouchers. A good time as earlier the better as an hour late, the restaurant was overcrowded and it was mayhem. bushmill whiskey distillery was a quick stop from 1345-14.15. too short to do very much, a quick walk Around and had a dram of whisky. Reasonably priced for blends at £4 per dram. The single malt aged was heating into double digits. Dunluce Castle was on the iternary but could not be seen due to Poor weather. We then headed to the Great causeway :1437-1630 and had more time there due to the stop that was cancelled. Weather was terrible. We were dropped off at a corner so they can save money for parking. We were asked to go around the ticketing office via the car park and to avoid the National trust office/ building. Dave is entertaining, full of stores and talking through out the trip. Theresa was too much time on the bus and little time on the ground. It’s a weather dependent tour. It ticks all the boxes with game of thrones and also coastal Northern Ireland sites.

An average tour - The tour does what it says. The bus takes you from Belfast to Giant's Causeway via the stops published on the city tours website. The guide was knowledgeable and informative, though at times he was very sharp with people who transgressed his requested return time by a few minutes. The positives: (1) We had 90 minutes to spend at the Giant's Causeway, (2) the guide's commentary was generally heloful The negatives: (1) the stops all seemed very rushed. We had about 50 minutes for lunch and to see the dark hedges, and we had 14 minutes at the Bushmills distllery. Even 90 minutes at the Giant's Causeway is only just enough time to walk down and see the site, walk up, and use the toilet before you get back on the bus. If you're hoping for a leisurely day, this bus tour (or any bus tour) is not that. (2) the guide was quite sharp with people who were a few minutes late. While I can appreciate that the bus needs to stay on schedule, the compressed time frame made it very difficult to meet the guide's requests. Those of us who were on time were asked to embarrass the people who were late, which seemed quite crass to me. In sum, this bus tour was fine if you're a person who is fine with bus tours. But, it reminded me of why I avoid bus tours.
