A tour you won't soon forget - The tour began with some Belfast highlights, but then became a moving first-person narrative of what things were like during the Troubles. Our guide Joseph was fantastic doing a great job of painting the picture of then and now. Special bonus was meeting his brother Danny, the famous wall muralist, who was actually painting a mural when we met him. I highly recommend this tour but it can be a bit emotional about a tragic period in Irish history.

Worth Every Penny - We did the 3 hour tour and it was beyond expectations. The tour covered both the political and cultural aspects of Belfast. This tour is highly recommended if one wishes to be immersed into the past and current political environment of Belfast and to do so with a knowledgeable and friendly guide. We had a timely start and finish and our guide was exceptionally flexible grooming the tour based on our desires and questions.

Belfast explained - Joel took us through Belfast and explained us how it is to live in this city. We are Dutch so we did not know a lot about the history. He told us both sides of it. It was very impressive and worth every penny!!! Arie and Cora

Great tour - Great tour and a real eye opener. Would recommend it. Got to see tge murrals and peace wall and the local areas on both sides of the wall.

Belfast Politcal Tour - Professional driver who was very informed about Belfast and its history. Recognize that there is a bias on the information presented depending on the religion of your driver.

Amazing driver. - Joe was amazing. I’m from Belfast but have been living in Australia for the last 10years and I brought an Aussie friend home with me this time. They found it really informative and interesting, but most of all they felt the history and details given were done so in a very non-biased and impartial manner. Would definitely recommend, even if your from Belfast.

Definitely Worth doing!! - Our driver was prompt in picking us up and took us to many places of interest.. he was informative & interesting and had many stories to tell & we felt that he gave us a non bias perspective! This tour was recommended to us by friends that did it previously and we would highly recommend it to others!!

Black cab tour - The experience was so informative. I never really felt like I understood what happened in Belfast. Anto was amazing. He actually grew up during the troubles right in the heart of it. Definitely the highlight of our trip to Belfast.

Great tour, highly recommend - Made a trip to Belfast with my wife, had the trip recommended by someone so took them up on their advice. I was not disappointed - the driver was fantastic, so knowledgeable and gave a very good insight into what life was like for both sides. Lots of time for photos of murals etc….. would definitely recommend and would do another tour when we visit Belfast again. Great City!!!

Fascinating historical tour - Our visit to Belfast did not include a Black Taxi Belfast City Tour initially, but we changed our itinerary based on the recommendation of our driver/guide in Ireland. One of our best decisions and one of the most fascinating tours we have taken. Our guide, Paul, was knowledgeable and passionate about Belfast and its history. Having lived through The Troubles and continuing to live in West Belfast, Paul’s tour was personal, informative, and unbiased. We left with a much more balanced understanding of The Troubles and the history of Belfast and Northern Ireland as well as a picture of the current status. We also have a greater understanding of Belfast’s role in WWII.
