The Titanic in her glory, sadly it was a soggy ending! - Always wanted to visit the home of the Titanic, therefore this was my number 1 plan to come to see. To see the H&W cranes and actual items from the Titanic, especially Wallace Hartley's Violin did bring a tear to the eye (fun fact he came from Colne a town only a few miles from me). Very informative and interesting, spent at least an hour+ here and could have taken longer, however, it did get a little busy towards 11am and more people in the way of the written aspects.

Good attraction, experience would be enhanced by tighter crowd control - We enjoyed the experience and there has certainly been considerable investment in the attraction to appeal to all ages. In our view, the experience could be enhanced by tighter management of the flow of patrons through the attraction as at times it was impossible to read the displays. Furthermore, as vegans, we would love to see us better catered for, as so many attractions do now.

Difficult visit - Interesting visit But far too many people despite the filtering and everything is English. Insufficient space in the exhibition Many themes devoted to the history of Ireland.

High Awards and visits with older children preferably - We went with my parents to the Titanic Museum. Frankly it is nice but without more, there is a lot of reading and only in English. Can visual representation except photos of the time, I do not recommend it with young children. The Award is very high and is not frankly justified. However, this remains interesting culturally.

Pricey for the experience. - I thought that the experience was expensive, however the rollercoaster half way through was innovative as i’ve not seen something like that before in a museum. The crowd control in the experience also needs to improve as there were far too many people in one area at a time, and I wasn’t able to read or see as much as I wanted due to being jostled around. Also there were limited vegan options both in the experience restaurants and the one outside.

Absolute chaos. Far too overcrowded - We did the tour on a Thursday morning- it was absolute chaos, you couldn’t move with the amount of people being let through all at once. It’s like a bottleneck, everyone stopping to read the info on each side of the wall however large groups of people who can’t move to the side and stay in the group means you are stuck until that group moves on, but then you have other groups coming back the way, there is no space for moving anywhere so you are trapped until you find a tiny space to slot by. If this place has a fire I don’t know how they will manage. The actual info on the wall is interesting if you can get in close enough to see it. The cable car ride is underwhelming and was a 20 min wait. Skip this. If you are in a wheelchair or pushing a pram I wouldn’t recommend going. Think Disney fireworks and trying to manoeuvre through! The only bonus is that the staff were polite and helpful, but the higher ups need to limit the number coming through or base more staff throughout to guide and direct people .

Tourist catch - For those who love the deep history of the Titanic, I advise you otherwise it is a tourist catch. We expected to visit an old boat behind the building with old photos and explanations about the Titanic. But it is not a magnificent architectural building but inside there is nothing extraordinary and the Award for tickets are excessively expensive to visit.

Endless walls of reading - I took my friend here when she visited and I hadn’t actually been before myself. Tickets were far too dear for what it was and we only wanted the titanic experience part and only realised when leaving that the price included the SS nonatic boat but we didn’t have time as the titanic experience will take you about 2.5 hours. However no one told us that are tickets included the both. As some others have said, the place was crowded that any SMALL interactive things that there was we didn’t get to do because there were so many people. It was hard to read some information because it was so crowded. I was disappointed as I would say it was less of a museum and more of a reading day. It was endless walls of reading and a few pictures. A lot what actually just about setting the scene of the area too which I feel more focus should have been on the titanic. Goodness so much reading. I wouldn’t say it was child friendly only go if you love reading tones of information. The cable car ride we waited maybe 15 minutes and it was a hopeless 2 minute ride if even. It goes super slow and you couldn’t hear too well the audio as the surrounding sounds were so loud. Towards the end the experience improves a little as you get to see an old titanic room and SOME artefacts. I expected a lot more artefacts and special things given it was Belfast but sadly no. The last bit I’d say was rather emotional with seeing the communication messages between the titanic and nearby boats, the names of people on it and the flashes of images of those who died on it. That was probably the most interesting part and then it’s all over. You could find more information out online yourself about the titanic. There lacked good facts about it I think. For something so recommended I was very disappointed.

Too crowded to enjoy! - We visited the exhibition on a Tuesday afternoon in August. We bought the tickets on site, which meant we had to wait 90 minutes. If you go, better buy tickets in advance. But we can not recommend it during high season. The museum was so crowded that it was very unpleasant. You couldn't read or look at a lot of things and were pushed through the rooms in a bunch. For this experience, the £25 entrance fee was far too expensive. And the fact that audio guides cost an extra £4 is ridiculous for an international museum. Nevertheless, it is a very special museum with lots of multimedia and impressive installations. If you’re able to actually SEE them. 🫣

Horrible. - arrived in the museum, apart from the prices of the various tickets, impossible to get information in French to know what these different rates correspond to, no document in French available at the reception, I have never seen a place wanting to be so touristic, ignore foreign visitors. During our request to the reception: answer: you just have to go on the internet. So overall, the Titanic is ours and we do what we want We hope you had nothing to do with the shipwreck (who benefits from the crime????)
