Avala, a mountain situated an hour’s drive from Belgrade, is home to numerous protected animal and plant species. Composed of serpentinite, limestone, and magmatic rocks, the mountain is a rich source of lead and mercury ore. Our guided tour begins at 10:00am, with our transport picking you up directly from your location. As we reach Avala, we will visit several key points of interest, including the monument dedicated to the unknown hero, the site where Russians lost their lives in a plane crash, the location of the former Zrnov tower, and the viewpoint that offers spectacular views from Belgrade’s highest point.
