- Belgrade - The tour begins at 8 a.m. from your accommodation in Belgrade.
- Manasija Monastery - Enjoy a scenic 1.5-hour drive to our first stop, Manasija Monastery, nestled among the green hills of the vibrant Resava gorge. Built in the early 15th century during the reign of Despot Stefan Lazarevic, the complex is encircled by 12 towers designed to protect the Church of Saint Trinity from the Ottomans. The Manasija monastery fortification, with its walls and towers, is the best-preserved fortification complex in medieval Serbia. The monastery’s frescoes are considered one of the greatest achievements of medieval Serbian art, making it a true gem of Serbian medieval culture.
- Resavska Cave - The tour continues to the 80-million-year-old Resava Cave, discovered by a local shepherd in 1962 and opened to the public ten years later. Today, it is one of the most visited caves in this part of Europe, known for its rich cave formations like stalagmites and stalactites. The tunnels stretch for 4.5 km, with over 2 km explored and 800 m accessible to visitors. The cave maintains a constant temperature of 7°C year-round, with air humidity between 80 and 100%. The cave tour lasts 40 minutes, so warm clothing is recommended.
- Vodopad Veliki Buk - Next, we head to Lisine waterfall, one of Eastern Serbia’s top attractions. Here, in this stunning location, we will take a lunch break, offering you the chance to try the best trout fish in Serbia.
- Krupajsko Vrelo - Our journey continues to Krupaj Spring, located 30 km from Lisine Waterfall on the west side of Beljanica Mountain. This karst spring is one of the most beautiful in Eastern Europe, with its turquoise waters sure to leave you breathless.
- Belgrade - We then drive back to Belgrade (2 hours) and drop you off at your accommodation.

A must-do day trip from Belgrade! Thank you Jelena & Ranko - What an amazing tour and day trip, it was great value for money, and our tour guide Jelena was extremely knowledgeable, providing facts and information all throughout the journey and trip. Both her and our Ranko made sure to go out of their way to look after us so we felt comfortable. Some of the sights we saw along the way were stunning and made me want to visit much more of Serbia. Hvala! 😊

Awesome tour! - The Gems of Eastern Serbia tour was nothing short of amazing! Our guide, Jelena and driver, Milan were both fantastic. We learned so much about the history of Serbia on our tour while travelling in comfort.
The destinations were fascinating, especially the Manasija Monastery and Resavska Cave, and Jelena had so much information to share. She was also very personable and easy to talk to, and very willing to take pictures from all of the best angles.
At the end of the day I felt like Jelena and Milan were our friends, and we even shared some homemade rakija, which was delicious.
As far as guided tours go, this was one of the best that I've ever experienced. I would happily recommend it to anyone looking to get out of the big cities and experience the beauty of Serbia.
Thank you to Serbia Inspired Tours for a great day trip!

Fantastic experience - Fantastic tour to discover the most authentic places in Serbia. Comfortable and clean transportation, our guide, Jelena, fantastic! She showed us all the sights in detail and also gave us valuable tips about Belgrade in general. Plus lunch at the restaurant (not included in the tour price) was really very good and cheap. I absolutely recommend this experience!

Very good and obliging staff - Nice tour! Jelena was very friendly and had a lot to tell us about what we were visiting as well as the overall culture of Serbia.
And also beyond the trip she was helping us and giving information on how to get into clubs or where to go. Even a day after our trip she helped us.

Nice day trip, definitely recommended!!! - A great tour! If you want to see part of eastern Serbia, then the tour is definitely a good idea. Jelena was great! She shared so much knowledge with us and told us more about the history of Serbia. She can answer any questions!
There were many opportunities to take photos and enjoy the places. If you want more time somewhere, then she is open to it!
Finally, we stopped at a honey stand. Be sure to try and if you can, buy something. The lady does everything herself and is so nice. The honey is incredibly delicious!!!
