• Golubac Fortress - Journey along the majestic Danube to your first destination, the Golubac Fortress. Situated on towering cliffs at the river’s widest point, this medieval fortress captivates visitors with its enchanting towers and fairytale-like ambiance. Ascend to one of the fortress’s viewpoints, and it becomes clear why locals say the Danube looks like the sea from here. Experience breathtaking panoramic views from one of Serbia’s most well-preserved fortifications.
• Kapetan Misin Breg - Delight in the tranquil beauty of Kapetan Mišin Breg, an eco-ethno complex offering stunning views of the Đerdap Gorge. Named after a respected captain, the site includes an open-air gallery, “Man, Wood, Water,” featuring an impressive array of wooden and stone sculptures.
• Djerdap National Park - After a leisurely lunch, embark on a journey through the Iron Gate Gorge, the narrowest and deepest part of the Danube. Admire the impressive rock carving of Dacian King Decebal and catch sight of the Mraconia Monastery on the Romanian side. Conclude your cruise with a visit to Tabula Traiana, a Roman plaque celebrating Emperor Trajan’s remarkable engineering achievement of building a road through the gorge’s most challenging terrain.
