Additional Information

This exploration of Zemun is distinctive. What other way can one characterize a stroll through the captivating old town, which is not only concealed within another city like a matryoshka doll, but also shelters another city within its borders? Rest assured, we’ll unravel this third city together. We’ll saunter on the stone-covered lanes between vine-draped dwellings with tile-clad roofs, offer food to the Danube swans, peek into courtyards in search of area’s gems, myths, mysteries, and amusing stories strewn across Zemun.

However, don’t be fooled by this idyllic tableau. Zemun, like any other genuine storybook city, harbors a clandestine or darker aspect, which has altered not just the country’s fate on numerous occasions, but also the trajectory of Europe. Yet, that doesn’t deter us, right?

This urban expedition is splendid, uncomplicated, and brimming with fantastic tales. Without these stories, comprehending Belgrade or the rest of Serbia would be futile. We advise that this tour be your next venture following the sightseeing exploration of Belgrade.

Discovery of Zemun - Our guide was Olga, who introduced us to the wonderful Zemun. We explored the city together and learned about the history and interesting places of the area. It turned out to be a very interesting walk with discussions and discoveries, at a very comfortable pace for us. It's a shame we didn't have more time in Belgrade, we would definitely have loved to explore other areas of Belgrade with Olga. Thank you very much!
