Nelson was a great guide... - Nelson was a great guide for us for the day as we headed to the cave to go tubing. He told us stories of his own life growing up in Belize and what that was like and about the caves and what the Mayan people believed. He guided us through the cave which was slow moving water and warm. After the tube trip, we changed clothes and Nelson provided us warm tamales to eat and a drink on the way to the ruins. While at the ruins, Nelson told us more information about the Mayans who had lived there and we were able to climb to the top which you can not do anywhere else that I'm aware of. The ruins were impressive and it was interesting to learn about the ancient culture.

Definitely book here! - This ended up being a private tour as my boyfriend and I were the only two who booked that day. Your guide was very knowledgeable and helpful. The temples are amazing and you can still climb the original stairs on two of them. The Caves were definitely the highlight. Such a cool experience. Be prepared with water shoes, although they rent crocs there if you forget. Lunch was provided at the end of the caves tour. The tapas are gluten free - a ground corn paste with boiled chicken inside. Wasn’t my favorite but I appreciate that it was gluten free!

A must do experience! - One of the best excursions I’ve ever been to. Fred went above and beyond to make this an enjoyable experience. He was so knowledgeable of the Maya culture and history of Belize. Transportation was provided which was a huge plus because the ruins are quite a distance inland from Belize city. He also provided water and delicious tamales (Belizean style!) The caves and temple ruins were beautiful! If you’re looking for a tour where you truly get to see the breathtaking nature and learn about the rich history of Belize, this is it. Would book again and recommend to my family and friends. Book this excursion! - Fred went above and beyond to ensure my friends and I had a great excursion. He was very knowledgeable about the caves and Atun Ha - particularly the history and the wild life. Plus the lunch was delicious! I would recommend this excursion and Fred to anyone visiting Belize.

10/10 Experience learning about Maya Culture - This excursion was as much fun as it was educational! I am a Belizean living in the states and went with my cousins and best friends for a birthday trip. It was incredible to learn so much about Belize that I did not know or learn because I grew up and live in the United States. Fred was an excellent tour guide and very knowledgeable. The hike to cave tubing was very interactive and engaging! Cave tubing was beautiful and relaxing, Fred was working hard pulling our tubes. He deserves all the tips and appreciation. Altun Ha was a beautiful experience as well. I felt very connected with my culture and history learning about the Maya people at both sites. The tamales for lunch were also delicious and I recommend requesting them for lunch! Not only was this excursion affordable, it was a 10/10 experience and I recommend for anyone whether you're Belizean or not.

Simply Amazing - Dennis Jr. was an amazing tour guide. He was beyond knowledgeable of his countries history. Dennis Jr. was fun, optimistic, and very outgoing. He was very patient and professional. He served us delicious tomalies for lunch and hiked the beautiful historic temples with us. I highly recommend him and this excursion if you want a for sure great time and an experience where your tour guide engages and interacts with you fully. Thanks for a memorable experience Dennis Jr.

Disappointed - It started with my family of four having to wait an hour for a single woman running very late. I wasn't bothered because I figured the tour would then run an hour late. However, she then had to be rushed to the airport for a scheduled flight to South America and our Ruins portion of the tour was shortened to 30 minutes. The cave tubing was wonderful.

Our guide, Dennis Jr. was... - Our guide, Dennis Jr. was amazing! He was well informed, funny, and an excellent guide. We gave this tour 3 stars because of all the time in the car. We spent over 3 hours in the car, probably closer to 4, which is more time than we spent at the attractions. Had we of known Altun Ha was going to be an additional 1 hr 20 minutes of driving each way, we would have skipped it.
