Absolutely incredible - Fab was absolutely wonderful. I’ve done this tour before with my mom on a different company, and had an amazing experience just floating through the cave. THIS was above and beyond that. We went swimming in multiple spots in the beautiful crystal clear turquoise waters, and I swear Fab knew everything about any question you threw at him. He was so watchful that we saw many iguanas and when I voiced I was hopeful to see monkeys, he found them for me. He knew so many many facts about the cave and took us exploring up it. It was a phenomenal experience and I was very impressed. His passion about the cave shows in how much he loves the area and showing others it. Absolutely amazing.

Gorgeous, Entertaining, Well Done tour - To sum up- this was one of the best excursions we have ever booked. We were two couples, and booked the private Crystal Dry Cave-Tubing experience, which was hosted by Adler. The pick up from the cruise port was smooth- we shared a van with one other group, and Adler Jr. gave a informative and entertaining running commentary about the country and it's resources and customs the entire way to the caves. We arrived at the caves, were given equipment, and the two groups broke off into their respective activities. Adler walked us through the jungle, teaching us about different plants, trees, and wildlife. We saw monkeys, and were encouraged to try the termites (we passed). Beautiful jungle walk, on mostly a flat, wide trail. Then we got in the tubes, directed and pulled/pushed by Adler. Again, informative and running commentary through the whole tour about the formations, water flow, and earth changes over time. The caves are GORGEOUS, and you will find nothing like this anywhere else, a totally unique experience. About half way through the tour, we stopped the tubes, got out and hiked through the caves. THIS IS NOT AN EASY WALK. You must be in good physical condition- up ladders, stairs, and over very uneven terrain, stepping over large crevices and ducking under rocks. However, if you are able, this is not to be missed. The glittering rocks, beautiful jungle peak-throughs, and the absolutely pure, crystal clear blue water is breathtaking. We saw some Mayan artifacts that were left in the caves, and Adler taught us of their uses and rituals done in the caves. Back to swimming through the softest, best feeling water I've ever seen, and to the tubes and cruising back out of the caves under Adler's power. Lunch was chicken and rice and beans in the van back to the port.
As I said, this was one of the best excursions we've ever done. We've traveled a lot and taken excursions in many places, and this one is well organized, beautiful, and unique. Communication from booking until pickup was excellent. Adler and Junior made the excursion relaxing and informative. Highly recommended.
*side note, you definitely want soled shoes that attach to your feet- you will be swimming in your shoes. Flip Flops will not work.

Well managed and highly recommended - Was picked up at the Royal Caribbean port (terminal 2) after getting there by ferry. VIV was waiting just outside and was easily identified by the guard and their shirts. Ended up waiting about 45 minutes for the rest of the people that reserved to show up. There was 6 of us off the ship and we picked up another 3 from a nearby hotel. The van fit us easily and the AC was able to keep us all comfortable. The driver stopped at a local gas station for us to get any drinks or snacks and let us know the pricing was in local currency. The drive to the park took about an hour during which time the other tour guide filled us in all about Belize.
During the ride over anyone that wanted to purchase a lunch paid the tour
guide ($10) and they had the food ready once we returned from the tubing.
Once we got to the park we were able to rent some very cheap crocs. You should plan to bring something to walk over rocks with that can get wet. You can leave stuff in the van which we did so we had a dry set of cloths to put on. There is a large changing room at the park.
The walk which includes 3 river crossing took about an hour over mostly level dirt and rock trails. We had a girl about 10 and a grandpa about 70. The guides were needed to assist them in the river crossings.
Once we got to the caves, the inner tubes were already there and inflated. We took some pictures and then the guides broke us up into two groups. Each group gets connected together and stays connected for the entire cave tour. The guide maneuvers the group the entire way and narrates the entire way; pointing out various highlights in the caves. His English was excellent. After the caves there was a leisurely float back to the starting point during which time he allowed those able to swim to leave the inner tubes.
Overall very enjoyable tour that I highly recommend.

Colin is a wonderful guide! - The caves tubing trip was a fun adventure for our family! Our guide, Colin, really made the experience memorable! He was a fountain of knowledge for not only the excursion, but for the whole country. We learned about the history of the areas we traveled through and the country in general. We learned about the native plants and wildlife in the jungle on the hike to the caves and also all about that cave itself with all it's background and characteristics. Get over the yuck factor and try a termite! We hope to come back and hopefully have Colin as a guide again.

Great experience -- Eddie is a... -
Great experience -- Eddie is a native of Belize and really gave us the scoop on the island on the way to and from the cave. We took a short trek to the cave entrance and then floated through the cave with Eddie telling about some of the history and how these caves have flooded too during extremely heavy storms. Made me think about a lot about the boys in Thailand since they were unable to escape the cave they explored at the same time we were exploring ours.

Good Tour - bad business practices - Tubing in the caves and seeing the different formations. We were picked up from outside the Carnival port by Abner of V.I.V. and then driven about an hour to Nohoch Che’en Park to tube. We requested a stop for water which we paid $5 for a 1.5liter bottle. At the park, we rented Crocs for $3 each and then were handed tubes and helmets. This was surprising to me as I had specifically booked this tour because tube portage was included. I didn’t complain to Abner because he would have had to carry 3 tubes but I feel this was deceptive. We crossed 3 rivers, then tubed, swam and climbed through the different caves to see the sparkling ones and the pottery artifacts. We then leisurely floated back to the start and carried our tubes back to the storage locker. It was a fun tour and I learned quite a bit, however, when I went to write this review, I found the same exact tour with the same exact company for $50 less a ticket on Trip Advisor. So now I feel deceived and ripped off.
