Enjoy cave tubing with an optional swim in the pools. Cruise and island guests are welcomed ashore, and we will meet you at the marine terminal. The journey is 37 miles from Belize City to the caves. Facilities include changing rooms, showers, and restrooms. Guides provide all participants with PFDs and helmets with lights. A 30-minute walk on a gravel path with river crossings is required, so bring sturdy shoes that can get wet. Arrive at the cave entrance and relax on a tube with a mesh seat bottom and headrest. Float for an hour, taking in the sights. Enjoy the refreshing, crystal-clear waters with expert guidance. Check in early to float through the intricate cave system.
  After the float, it’s a short walk to the van where you can retrieve your towels and dry belongings before returning to the port.

Cruise guests will be met by the tour guide at the EXIT of Terminal 1, street side at the FSTV Port. Pickup is also available at hotels and marine terminals. The journey to the caves takes approximately one hour. At the National Park, modern restroom facilities are available. For those ready to swim and hike, guides will provide helmets, jackets, and lights. The walk lasts about twenty minutes and includes crossing the river three times. Upon reaching the caves, there is an optional swimming area. Guests are provided with a luxury tube featuring a headrest, mesh bottom seating, and rope links for easy floating. The guide expertly navigates the tubes through the cave system beneath the Maya mountains, showcasing various formations and a small waterfall. Guides also share geological and historical insights as the float continues downstream.
