• Nohoch Che’en Caves Branch Archaeological Reserve - Departure is from Belize City. The journey involves a 45-minute drive on a smooth road in an air-conditioned vehicle to reach the destination. A 35-minute trek through the jungle canopy allows for birdwatching and the observation of exotic flora. Equipped with a life jacket and helmet, you will be guided on a tubing adventure through the caves, during which you will gain insights into the ancient Mayan culture and marvel at the natural splendors. The cave tubing experience lasts approximately one hour, followed by a 20-minute drift on the open river. A brief 3-minute walk will take you back to the parking area, where facilities are available to change into fresh clothes and grab a bite before you head off to your next location. Remember to bring water shoes, spare clothing, and a waterproof camera or GoPro to capture the memories of your journey through the Mayan netherworld.

• In order to go cave tubing participants must be 40 inches and above. You can bring along infants but you will have to stay in the arrival area at the restaurant or on the vehicle.
• if you have a serious mobility impediment or heart problems kindly write us ahead of time to see if we can accomodate you. There is a 35 minute walk that is leveled but you will have to cross the river three times on your way to the entrance of the cave.
