Best trip ever! What an experience! - This was awesome. If i went back to Belize - I'd do the same trip again. The pickup was great - just meet outside the door of the cruise terminal. The guide was funny, informative, personable and kept our whole family (2 adults & 5 kids - ages 14-20) completely engaged for the trip to the rain forest. Once at the site we picked up our tube and treked through the rain forest and across 3 rivers - this was great fun and almost as fun as the tubing. Once at the launch site, the guide tied the rafts together and then we set off through the 1/2km of cave, with waterfalls and great sights. Then out into the open river and then towards the end you can get out of the tube and "lazy river" the jungle river - what an experience. After the tubing there was a traditional local chicken meal (and they got a veggie option for one of my kids) and a bottled water. It was enough (and even my 14 year old ate it all - and he's a right picky eater!). All in all, it was one of the best ever days I've had, what an experience a great local guide made it a truly wonderful trip that we will all remember forever. Book it now!

Awesome time if you come prepared - Jimmy was our guide for the trip, and he was excellent. He honestly made the excursion for us. I’ll say at the top - it’s a GREAT experience; just know exactly what you’re getting into! If you know everything in advance, it helps to enjoy the tubing more. PLUS, it’s better to book local instead of through your cruise to help support local tourism. It takes awhile to get there, which is no different than if you book through a cruise. We met up with the 5 Star team no problem. It’s about an hour+ drive each way, but Jimmy talked about Belize which we enjoyed. When you arrive, after getting your gear, you have to walk 25-30 minutes through the rainforest - you cross the river three times, which can be tricky if you’re not prepared for it. After that, it’s time to lay on the raft and enjoy the show. The cave is a sight to behold, without a doubt! We loved it. Lunch is a regionally made tamale and water; some loved it and others didn’t. It’s not the drawing card for the excursion. Tips: absolutely, positively bring good water shoes. You can’t do the tour without them, and for good reason! Also, bring bug spray. Mosquitos are rampant, which is common in rainforests. Finally, if you have prescription sunglasses, wear your regular glasses so the cave isn’t too dark.

Fun day of tubing - Our guides were great! Funny, engaging and informative. We did the cave tubing and had a blast. Absolutely beautiful site! Lunch was authentic and delicious. They picked us up from the cruise port and ensured we were back in time, removing the stress of finding our way around with limited time. Highly recommend!

Great tour! - We had a private tour with Peter! We got picked up from our hotel the drive was about an hour to the site. Our tour guide Peter was very knowledgeable about his country, and the history of the caves. He made the tour such fun by telling us folktale stories. He even stopped on the way so we could try fruits from local vendors. Thank you for a great tour we had a blast!

Amazing! Historic, adventurous and delicious! - What an awesome trip and big bang for your money. Kenton is incredible and picked us and up and drive us in a very comfortable vehicle giving us all the history of the island on our 50 minute drive to the launch point. He is incredibly brilliant and a wealth of knowledge who had us laughing the whole way. He then guided us on through the jungle on an easy hike for about 45 minutes stopping a long the way to show us things we would have missed if not for him. The water felt great once we got our tunes in the water and it was surreal seeing the beauty of the canes while flowing through as he guided and pointed out various things. You get out of the tube a few times to jump off rocks into the water inside the caves and then end outside where the tour ends but then have a really delicious lunch of chicken stew and rice and beans. There is another gentleman (Rini) who serves up carved up pineapples and you mix your own drink (good rum) and various juices however or how strong you wanted. ($15 US and worth it / $12 if you don’t use the rum). He is also hilarious. We then departed back and recapped what we saw with more history and a full pineapple for the ride back.. Again, we had an amazing time and learned so much from Kenton and grateful we had him for our tour guide. A great display of hospitality.and fun l. Give that man a raise! Thank you Kenton

Fun adventure - The cave tubing was a great adventure and although the walk was longer then expected, our guide Jimmy did an excellent job of educating us about the jungle along the way. Jimmy was an excellent guide the entire day and gave us an exceptional tour. The lunch he brought was were delicious homemade chicken Tamales from a local.

DON'T Trust this outfit! - At the last minute they canceled. They said that it was inconvenient for them unless more people signed up. They had taken my money days before. But they would not honor the contract unless they had a crowd to guide. These people should be removed from Viator!

Do not book with Viator! - I do not recommend this vendor or Viator! Viator booked the wrong excursion over the phone and neither them or the vendor would refund us our money with it being their mistake!!!!
