Explore all the Caves kayaking for 2 hours and visit the Crystal Cave, which is a 1.5-hour scenic drive from San Ignacio or Belize City to the Nohoc Cheen Caves, led by a driver and tourist guide. At the caves’ parking lot, use the modern restroom facilities. The guide will assist in fitting everyone with helmets, lights, jackets, and paddles. Then, embark on a 20-minute hike through the rainforest. The kayaks are located at the entrance of the caves, where the paddling adventure begins. Enjoy exploring the upper caves and marvel at the grandeur of this cave system. Take the opportunity to swim in the crystal-clear, natural spring-fed pools. After visiting the Crystal Caves, continue paddling through the lower caves, passing by many formations and small rapids, which require some steering. View the waterfall inside the cave before exiting. The fun continues as you paddle downstream in the open river, arriving back at the parking lot. After a lunch break, it’s time to return to the hotels or water taxi.
