In addition to landmarks and historical buildings, guests will be driven through downtown Belize City, where they can observe the vibrant faces of the Belizean people as they go about their daily routines. - Belize District - As the tour progresses to the Sanctuary, it will pass by the historic Belize River, once used by the Mayas and later by British settlers to transport mahogany logs from the rainforest. The tour continues through other villages initially established as mahogany camps, on the way to the Howler Monkey Sanctuary. These villages, located along the Belize River, provide a breathtaking view of the Belize district.
- Community Baboon Sanctuary - Upon arrival at the howler monkey sanctuary, guests have the opportunity to use the restroom. They are then introduced to the site guide, who will lead the tour. The guide begins by welcoming guests and providing detailed information about the sanctuary inside the museum. Guests will then venture onto the rainforest trails to observe the fascinating black howler monkeys in their natural habitat.
