Discovering the Mystical Altun Ha

As a seasoned traveler and surfer, I’ve always been drawn to the mysteries of the ocean and the stories they tell. But this time, my journey took me inland, to the heart of Belize, where the ancient Mayan ruins of Altun Ha awaited. The allure of exploring these historical sites was too tempting to resist, and I found myself eagerly anticipating the adventure.

Our guide, Luis, was a fountain of knowledge, sharing tales of the Mayan civilization as we made our way to Altun Ha. The drive was a scenic one, with lush greenery and the occasional glimpse of the Caribbean Sea reminding me of the waves I love to chase.
