Great day on the river and at the ruins! - Ian and Julian were amazing and provided us a great day on the river and at the ruins! We saw a baby alligator, many birds, turtles and howler monkeys. They gave a great tour of the ruins so we could get amazing pics before the big groups came in. The lunch was a traditional Belizean chicken and was so delicious! They got us back to the cruise port in plenty of time. The boat on the river is small but we felt completely safe with these two. Wear good walking shoes! Highly recommend!!!

Great river tour with ruins - Amazing tour of the river wildlife with Julian not just the ruins. Pickup was late at 8.15am instead of 7.30 but I had more time for hotel breakfast. Bring a jacket as the riverboat can be quite windy but lots of amazing wildlife, baby crocodile, iguana, bats, termites, birds. Site has three pyramids spread out, Jaguar, Tall, and Mask pyramid. Mask is the highlight due to the Olmec style faces. Lunch is standard for these tours, chicken, beans, rice, drink. Return water ride was quite cold and windy with less stops. Well worth it

Exploring Lamanai – An Unforgettable Experience! - From the very beginning, this experience was TOP-TIER! 🙌🏽 David, our pickup driver, didn’t just drive us to the site he gave us a full Belize history lesson along the way! His knowledge, storytelling, and pride for the country set the tone for the entire adventure. By the time we arrived, we already felt connected to the culture and history. And our boat guide? Absolutely AMAZING. 🚤🔥 The ride down the river was beautiful and exciting, and the way he pointed out wildlife and shared stories made it unforgettable. You could tell he truly loves what he does. By the time we reached Lamanai, we were fully immersed and ready to explore. The entire team made this more than just a tour it was an experience. If you’re thinking about visiting Lamanai, book with this company. You won’t regret it! 10/10 recommend! 🌿✨

The river boat was the highlight! - We had an amazing time. It felt like we were getting two events in one! Our guide specifically took his time on the boat pointing out birds, crocodiles, and other animals along the water. He did this so that we could let the tour bus crowds rush ahead. This allowed us to come in and see the ruins after the crowds had already completed their tour. I will say, I was hoping for a little more information from the guide on the history of the ruins themselves. He didn't go up the ruins with us, and only offered up information when asked. Our guide also brought us home made lunch after the tour. Chicken, rice and beans, coleslaw, and chips and salsa! It was so tasty and felt really special! I would recommend this tour guide to anyone who is cool with smaller groups, and with sacrificing a bit of the history lesson for a really enjoyable boat ride pointing out all sorts of animals. Would do again!

Awesome 40th anniversary experience. - Visiting the Mayan ruins was on my bucket list and this tour did not disappoint. Julian picked us up at our hotel and kept us engaged with cultural facts during the one-hour bus ride through Belize city northward. We thoroughly enjoyed the boat ride on the Nuevo Rio as we encountered much of the wildlife native to Belize including crocodiles, turtles and many species of birds. The Mayan ruins were fascinating and Julian very knowledgeable in sharing many historical facts about them. The Belizean lunch prepared by Julian's mother was delicious. The tour from pick-up to drop-off was @ 6 hours and it was our favorite experience on our 40th anniversary trip to Belize.

Scary, Intimidating guide! - Absolute Disaster…. DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY! They are not on time and if you mention that to the tour guide, he will YELL at you, that he’s been doing this for 14 years and if you have a problem you can.. We didn’t feel safe and cancelled.
