Highlights
- Mean and Dangerous Adventures Placencia Belize Cave Tubing - This tour will take you on a adventure back into a 1000 years in history itself. You will explore the wonders of the mayan world, their cave systems on a tube , jungle and plants. We will go explore the Mayan Temple Altun ha, you’ll get to hike to the top and around it with our guide giving you all you need to know about the site and the maya world. Then we head deeper into the jungle to go explore the cave systems. We will hike for about 20mins with out tubes through the jungle, you’ll get a fun lesson on plant identification, insect identification and all their medicinal uses throughout history in Belize. Then we cave tube down and river and through several caves enjoying the scenery. Lastly we Zipline over the jungle canopy. We then return to Belize City in the evening around 4pm.
This amazing experience starts at 8am in Belize City .
The pick up would be at your hotel in Belize or arrival port if coming from the islands.

Definitely worth it - Josh and Kobe were absolutely amazing!! Josh’s knowledge and passion for this experience was incredible. Kobe was very helpful for me, I am 7 months pregnant and he guided me and helped with my tube. I opted out of zip lining- but my boyfriend had a blast. I highly recommend this tour- and request Josh and Kobe!

Epic adventures with Josh! - Josh was hands down the best tour guide! He had his apprentice Kobbie with him as well who was so helpful and eager to learn! Josh was very knowledgeable about the Mayan ruins and Belizean culture as well as a vast knowledge of the world. He was punctual, funny and made sure we had everything we needed to stay comfortable. He guided us very well through the cave tubing and even let us swim once out of the cave! Couldn’t recommend him enough! Amazing day and even more amazing experience!

Full Day Exploration - we had a great experience with Josh at the ruins, cave tubing, and zip lining. Josh knows all about the Belizean culture and even fed us an amazing Belizean dish for lunch. Joshua knew exactly where to go, was extremely punctual, and made sure we were comfortable. To top it off, he was so kind and answered any questions we had. Book with them and request Josh, you won't regret it.

My temple cave tubing in Belize - Brian was awesome. Not a huge group only one other person. The caves in my temple were amazing. Zip lining was a lot of fun as well. Bringing a GoPro might be a good idea if you’re scared of your camera getting wet. Would recommend to everyone, Bring water shoes.

Well Worth The Price! - All around better than expected. I thought the temples were pretty great (I didn't realize it was a collection of temples - I thought it was just one), but the zipline (6 lines) and cave tubing were also really fun. Everything was professional and an emphasis on safety. Brian was our guide and did a great job. Be sure to check out Ryan BEFORE you go tubing (he's the Belizean man who you'll assume is Jamaican). He sells cocktails served in hollowed pineapples and he lets you pour your own booze, and even gives a free refill when you return from tubing - pretty amazing.

Must See - Brian was amazing!! The cave tubing was the highlight, although Altun Ha and zip lining were so funny. The zip lining employees showed us a tarantula when we asked. The best day full of stunning landscape. The lunch was so good, and we’re so glad we chose this tour!!

Full day exploration - I had the best time doing these excursions! And Josh was an amazing tour guide as well! I felt very safe even though I traveled to Belize solo and had to travel from San Pedro to Belize city on the 6am ferry.

If I only had one day in Belize I’d take this tour! - Great day spent with our tour guide Brian! Three exciting activities spread throughout the day and we got to learn a lot about Belize along the way. We were grouped with some cool people who came from all over and enjoyed getting to explore Belize with everyone. Definitely recommend this tour to anyone going to Belize!

A tour well worth the experience - My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed this trip. The activities were well paced and our tour guide Brian was fun as well as super knowledgeable.
The hikes were very do-able and not strenuous so it’s suited for all ages. Would recommend a change of clothes for the cave tubing as you will get soaked. For bug spray I’d recommend to look into safe sprays that aren’t harmful to the eco life here.
I recommend any of the tours that Salt Life Eco Tours provide!
