Thanks, Johnnie! - I highly recommend this tour. The Mayan ruins are a truly amazing experience. I initially thought the cave tubing would just be something overly touristy but it ended up being equally amazing. I've done a lot of excursions in a lot of places and I can honestly say Jonathan "Johnnie" is the best guide I've ever had. Not only was he a wealth of information on our tours, he is a wealth of information on Belize itself. We learned a great deal from him and really enjoyed his company. Give that man a raise, he deserves it.

A memorable journey by land and water - We had an amazing day with Robin as our informative and friendly tour guide. We loved visiting the ruins at Xunantunich and hearing his stories about the history and careful excavation/reconstruction of the site. I struggled a bit physically to climb to the top of the site, but Robin was there every step of the way and was so helpful when needed. His positive attitude and encouragement were greatly appreciated. I would not have made it to the top without him, and what a view it was! We were booked with another group who wanted a private tour, but Robin was so diplomatic and worked very hard to make sure they were happy as well as attending to us. He is a gifted diplomat. After the ruins, lunch was delicious. To ensure we didn't have to wait, he got our orders and phoned ahead to have them prepared when we arrived! Cave tubing was a great was to end the tour, relaxing after a long day being guided by Robin through the tunnels while telling us more about the local culture and history. I highly recommend this tour withTruly Wild Belize and Robin! Thank you so much.

No cave but ruins were fun! - It was amazing to see the Mayan ruins, but unfortunately due to the heavy rains we were not able to do the cave tubing which was very disappointing. We decided to add the zip lining the day of which we really enjoyed. Our guide for the day was Israel and he was amazing. Made sure we had everything we needed and flexed immediately once the rain canceled the cave part of our tour to make sure the day wasn't ruined. Highly recommend this company and ask for Israel.

Unbelizeable experience! - First time visiting Belize and seeing Mayan Ruins. The ruins are well preserved enough to see the history behind them but not renovated to where they lose their ancient charm. Our tour guide Israel was fantastic and very knowledgeable, as well as being our shuttle driver for the day. We had an incredible time getting to climb to the top of the Mayan temple for an out of world experience as you look over the central area and the ruins with the gorgeous mountains and jungle surrounding us. We could see a border town of Guatemala from the top of the ruins, showing the area the Mayans expanded into the jungle around them. We did the cave tubing after the ruins, which was a welcome relief from the jungle heat. It was full of excitement and wonder as you float down the river traversing through the rainforest and hear about the importance of the rainforest and caves to Mayan civilization. We had an amazing lunch at Bennys Kitchen nearby afterwards and the food was a delicious traditional Belizean meal full of flavor and topped off perfectly with fresh fruit drinks and Marie Sharps famous hot sauce.

Great tour - Israel was a terrific guide. He picked us up, and off we went on the drive to the ruins. He gave info about the area, Belize, and answered questions we had. He was excellent touring with around the ruins, took pics of our family, and made sure everybody was good. He ordered our meal at the restaurant we chose(great food btw). We proceeded to the cave tubing. Again, he was full of info and answered all our questions. We had a blast tubing with him. It was a very enjoyable long day, but well worth it.

If I Could Give More Stars I Would! - What an epic trip! So much to take in and so much fun. The Mayan Ruins were other-worldly, beautiful, mysterious and epic! Our guide Jonathan was AWESOME! So much knowledge and insight. Great stories and conversation. He knew so much history and information about -- everything! He was amazing the entire 12 hours!!! we were together. (It's a long tour, y'all!) But we never tired of it or him. Cave tubing was surreal and refreshing. Again, Jonathan was a wealth of knowledge about everything from the history, the jungle and flora and critters. We were a family of 5 - 3 teenagers - and they were engaged from start to finish. Lunch was a local eatery and was delicious. (All the food in Belize is delicious!) Don't know how we could top this tour, but hopefully we will get to visit again one day and try out another one. Can't recommend them enough!

Great mix of history and fun activity - The Mayan Ruins are amazing. We appreciated all the information that Robin, our guide, shared with us. It is pretty amazing that we can interact with the site that directly. The cave float was a really fun activity and complimented the Mayan ruins well.

Ruins and caves were so cool! - Johnny was a great guide. He was funny and very informative. Took us to a great lunch spot. One tip: if booking through this website, reach out directly a few days before. Viator didn’t manage any comms and pick up was a little confusing.
