Welcoming guide and really informative We got a lot for our money Would recommend 10/10 Pick up directly from hotel 2 hr drive to Berat but a coffee stop half way. Group got to know each other Berat is a wonderful historic city up a huge hill. Being driven there is a bonus unless you really want to hike. 1.5 hrs we walked round this wonderful ancient city and various churches and mosques which derived from the 1500s … guide was knowledgable and knew her stuff We got to spend a little free time in the city afterwards before being driven to the hills for some wine tasting and some amazing food. Food was wonderful, wine was very drinkable and a great local addition. I bought 3 bottles from a local producer as gifts. All in all would 100% recommend this

Amazing place - We had a fabulous time on our tour. Our guide Orlanda was so accommodating and had so much knowledge about the history of Berat. The wine tasting blew us away, the views from the winery were amazing and it was great to try authentic Albanian food, wine and raki. Would 100% recommend!

The best of all - Great tour and guide. Comfortable vehicle, good balance of guided and free time at the castle and city, followed by a fantastic meal at the winery. Highly recommended.

Amazing experience!! - An experience MUST DO! everything was perfect, from the visit to the explanations, through to lunch. once we finished we said to ourselves that if we hadn't done it, we would have missed a piece of Albanian history, highly recommended!

Incredibile trip - These guys are incredible. Simply the best experience we have had through a coordinated excursion on trip advisor. We can not say enough about how awesome these two guides treated us. If you are seeking an unbelievable time, seek these group out. We will definitely seek these two out when we come back. Albania is definitely a place to go NOW before the rest of the world finds out and turns into a crazy tourist location. Our experience with the guide’s knowledge was so much inside. We wished we had time to do more with these two while we were in Albania.

Good tour but with room for improvement - We had a mixed experience in relation to this tour. We booked to do the tour on 30th April to celebrate a special occasion and received a WhatsApp after booking to say the tour was confirmed. We were then really disappointed to receive a further message shortly before we left for Albania changing the date to suit the tour company. The tour company sent us a photo of the minivan that would be picking us up which was a nice touch. Orlanda, the guide, was from Berat and provided good commentary when we were walking through the castle and city. However she barely chated to the Engliish speaking members of the group outside of this aspect of the tour and preferred to chat with the Italian members of the group Our first stop was Belsh for a coffee and it was here that we were informed there would be an extra cost for the wine tasting, which at the time wof booking the tour was not clear on the list of extras on the website. The tour is entitled 'Berat and Wine Tasting,' not Berat and Optional Wine Tasting. The walking tour of Berat was interesting and the city is beautiful. At the end of the tour of Berat we had to wait in a bar to while away time as lunch at the winery had been booked for 4pm. We all agreed this was too late for lunch The lunch at Alpeta winery onsisted of local specialities and was delicious. We also enjoyed the wine tasting and the hospitality and warmth shown by the owner of the winery. It was around 8pm when we got back to Tirana. This late arrival could have been avoided with better

Misleading - This tour is not correctly advertised. There is no wine tasting included, it is an additional 13 euros and the description, which stipulates what is not included, does not say anything about it. Furthermore, you cannot do the winetasting without lunch so wd ended up playing all together €25 on top. 4 people in my group had bought this tour assuming that it included the wine tasting. This is dishonest.
