An exceptional experience with FiveSenses Tours at Belur and Halebidu - We had the most amazing day exploring the architectural wonders of Belur and Halebidu thanks to our incredible driver Mr. Mohan and tour guide Mr. Hegde. Mr. Mohan was professional, courteous, and extremely skilled at navigating traffic which made our journey stress free. Mohan pointed out interesting landmarks along the way which made our journey informative and truly unforgettable. Our tour guide Mr. Hegde was very knowledgeable about the history, art, architecture, and culture behind the temples. He brought the intricate carving and sculptures to life with detailed storytelling highlighting the royal members involved from the Hoysala dynasty. They coordinated perfectly to ensure that we had ample time at each site and helped us find great spots for lunch, and refreshments.

Amazing Belur and Halebidu Tour with 5 Senses - We did a 6 day/5 night customized tour including Belur and Halebidu (along with Hampi, Badami, Aihole and Shravanabelagola) with 5 Senses Tours and had a wonderful experience. All the arrangements from hotel accommodation, food recommendations and especially the local guides were perfect. The guides were very knowledgeable and patiently explained all the minute details. Driver Mohan was very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend 5 Senses!

An incredible day out. - The tour was very informative. I would highly recommend it. The temples were phenomenal. They exceeded my expectations. The driver picked me up on time for the 4 hour drive to Belur. We stopped and had a fabulous local breakfast with the famous south Indian filtered coffee (and very clean western style WCs). The driver was very safe and as I was a solo traveller he took some fabulous photos for me. Our guide was engaging and incredibly knowledgable. I called him the Pied Piper because a large group of local school children were fascinated with his expertise and charm. The children were delightful. We had another beautiful vegetarian meal in Belur at a local hotel - paneer, dahl and chiabati. After lunch we went to the second temple. Both were mesmerising in scale and beauty.

An excellent full-day tour to Belur and Halebid - This full-day tour took in two temple complexes at Belur and Halebid in Karnataka. The temples are fascinating and the use of knowledgeable local guides made the day all the more interesting. Noted for their ornate and detailed stone carvings, each temple comprises tens of thousands of blocks of soap-stone which are interlocked rather than cemented together. The UNESCO listing is wel-deserved, Divakar was excellent as both driver and lead guide, both knowledgeable and entertaining. Highly recommended - my fourth successful tour with 5 Senses Walks.

Halibeedu and Belur temple tour with great safe driver! - Excellent driver Mohan who is from the area and hence good insights and knowledge he could pass on to us. Safe driver and wasted no time getting in and out of Bangalore. Great highways and sights along the way including pilgrims heading out for a 3 day walk for celebration of ShivaRatri. The tour guide who walked us through Halibeedu and Belur was also knowledgeable and provided a good tour of the two temples. Recommended. Mohan also does up to 10 day tours around the south. Will definitely ask for his services next time.
