Best tour guide ever-- Cornel! - We had a lovely time in August, traveling from Chisinau to Transnistria and Odessa! Our guide Cornel(iu) was the most thoughtful and kind person ever. He navigated our journey well and kept us safe. He has a great sense of humor and is always engaging and helpful. To be frank, we were a bit worried about the instability and unrest in Odessa prior to going, but he kept us safe. Transnistria was very intriguing place, I loved all the architecture and sculptures. We dined at a USSR-style cafeteria. We spent about 3 hours in Odessa, it was a short time, but we felt it was important to support the locals, so we were so thankful for the experience! Thank you Corneliu! Much appreciation for Liliya as well, who helped coordinate and manage the tour.

A great day in Soviet-city Tiraspol - I had a fantastic time on my day tour to Transnistria from Chisinau. My guide Liliya turned out to be highly knowledgeable about the history of Moldova and Transnistria and during the drive there and back, I had a very pleasant time talking with her. On top of that, Transnistria turned out to be a really nice place to visit; the buildings and monuments I saw in Bender and Tiraspol were all well maintained. Not at all the somewhat grim place I expected it to be. I absolutely recommend this tour! If you are in Moldova, Transnistria is a must see and Liliya is the best person to show you around.
