We meet at Lake Weeroona Barbecue Pavilion Car Park (Opposite Quality Hotel Lakeside) 292 Napier St and transport passengers to the appropriate launch site that is determined by the prevailing wind on the day.

The greatest! - Let’s start by saying Melbourne is a beautiful city to take a hot air balloon ride in. And, having watched the balloons many times, BalloonMan has the best looking balloon. And he is also here to make sure you get your photos! Paul took the great shot of us on the ground, and when we landed, Chris and Paul made sure we got midair pics, a video of our journey, a picture for land, a YouTube link… the whole 9 yards (and it’s included, not an add-on to stress about.)
But also, Chris is clearly a very seasoned pilot. He gives you a great ride, shows off the city, and also directs the other balloons, stays in contact with air traffic control, etc.
It was everything I hoped for — peaceful, joyful, beautiful.

Couple getaway - The view was amazing and communication was top notch.
It was beautiful memories stored away for hubby and I as it was our anniversary.
Pretty chilly in the morning but once we took off we couldn’t feel the cold but soak in the sun and warmth from the fire for the air balloon.
Thank you to Chris and the team will definitely recommend to family and loved ones

Even better than I imagined! - Melbourne is an incredible city to see from a hot air balloon, and Balloon Man was the best company to fly with! It was clear Chris is an expert balloonist, setting the route and directing the other balloons that day. It felt so freeing and amazing to be up there, we had tons of fun, and Chris and Paul helped us get tons of awesome photos, and included their own, too! 100% recommend both taking a hot air balloon ride in Melbourne, and doing it with Balloon Man.

FAR EXCEEDED OUR EXPECTATIONS!!! - FAR EXCEEDED OUR EXPECTATIONS!!!
My wife and I were originally given the voucher as a present to go on the Hot Air Balloon ride with Balloon Man, which we decided to extend and bring along our 3 young kids (8, 6 & 6).
We had no idea what to expect (other than an early start), or how the kids would respond... needless to say that the entire experience went down perfectly, and the kids had an absolute blast!
Chris was fantastic throughout the journey, providing us with insightful pieces of information, amazing FREE photos, a beautiful sunrise over Melbourne City, and even letting the kids pull the burners (when we were on the ground of course!!!)... to top it all off the breakfast at the Grand Hyatt was epic, and we left with a bottle of champagne and certificates courtesy of the team at Balloon Man.
Overall this was a 10 out of 10 experience for our family, and one that we will never forget!

fantastic - Excellent operators, excellent experience, followed by a breakfast for champions.
Learning a bit about the methods used for steering the balloons from the starting point
to the landing zone was an experience in itself, the views were just an extra.
I hope to do this again soon.

Ballonman over the city. - What an fantastic experience. I wasn't sure what to expect as it was my first balloon ride but I was so thrilled. From start to finish, the whole trip was so professionally run and really informative and the guides Chris and Jeremy were such a pleasure. If this is something you've been thinking about doing, I would totally recommend you give it a go, you won't be disappointed.

Gravenall - Yesterday 21/12/22 we had a hot air balloon flight with Balloon Man. This company was very professional from the time of booking right through to taking our flight in perfect conditions. Peter & Adrian were fantastic to deal with from the start of our flight to our perfect landing. What a fabulous experience.
Would highly recommend Balloon Man.

Melbourne Hot Air Balloon Sunrise - This was such an amazing experience. You will actually help in the setup and take down of the hot air balloon. This helps you to appreciate the experience. The pilot made sure everyone was safe and enjoy the beauty of what a sunrise can be. He also made sure that our landing was safe regardless of where we touch ground. Which can be one of the highlights of this experience. I would definitely go again with Balloon Man. And the VIP experience is so worth it. The buffet at the Grand Hyatt was delicious and the opportunity to connect with the other passengers during brunch was an added benefit.

Disappointing experience - The ride itself was very peaceful and beautiful. Once we landed, however, everything changed. First, I was surprised we were only in the air for about 1/2 hour, not an hour as advertised. Then it took over can hour for our operators to actually get everything packed up so we could leave the landing spot. It took several attempts before they could successfully load the truck — another balloon team that landed in our same spot left the area long before we did. While we enjoyed the rather short ride and felt safe, the way it ended soured the experience somewhat and made us question the competence of the operators.
