Bangalore fort - It was an amazing experience to visit an historical place like Bangaluru Fort The doors are so big and enough to protect people inside, you will find big surrounding walls which are made by keeping set by one by one stone Though inside area is not acceptable and the back gate of the Fort is starting damage also inside a little bit garden also there Photography is not provided here.

Terrific walking experience through historic Bangalore - Akshay guided me around the core of historical Bangalore, offering rich descriptions and interpretations as we went from site to site on foot. We started at Tippu Sultan’s palace, visited a former armory, explored the Bangalore Fort, and admirered the adjacent hospital. Since we were moving quickly he had time to lead me on an unplanned excursion through the vibrant and highly authentic Indian experience of K. R. Market, which I definitely recommend. Thanks Akshay!

Architect as your friendly guide - This walk is super awesome. Mr Ali is very knowledgeable and takes immense interest personally to explain the heritage and safeguarding the same. He is an architect by training so the experience becomes much more interesting. I highly recommend his guidance if one wants to explore Bangalore.

KR Market and neighborhood walk - Our group of 2 had such a wonderful morning exploring the vibrant KR Market and surrounding areas. Ali was a wonderful guide and full of information. So great seeing first hand the local bartering process at KR, peaking into silk manufacturing, schools, brass works, and more. These are things you just can’t do without a guide. When in Bangalore this tour is a must!

Tiger of Mysore walk was fab - My son and I enjoyed this walk early sat morning. Brekky at NMH and then a perfect cool July morning stroll to see the palace, Kote Srinivasa temple and Blore fort. Mansoor is an engaging guide and shares various snippets that my 11 year old son enjoyed too.

Perfect way to start a weekend - It was a very engaging 3 hours full of details about certain aspects of the city's history which otherwise I was completely oblivious to. From Kempe Gowda to Tipu Sultan, we were taken through the landmark moments with lots anecdotes and juicy bits from history. I liked the fact that Mr.Mansoor carried several books which had paintings and portraits of the people he mentioned during the talk. It gave good, meaningful context. The talk starts from a breakfast joint/darshini in Chamrajpet, followed by the Summer Palace, the armoury and then ending at the Bangalore Fort. It was not too hectic either, as all these places were within 10 min walking distance of each other. A well spent Saturday morning!
