A lovely Saturday morning - We went out on a Saturday morning. Car picked us up right on time p. We met the guide in the beautiful old neighborhood of maheshwaram just as the colorful street market was opening up. It’s a beautiful sight seeing those lovely flower shops and amazing flower garlands made of lotus, marigold, rose petals, tulsi. It wa a great to watch the shopkeepers building the garlands. We went to a juice place which had dwliciciuous guava, draganonfruit, coconut, banana juices served in fruit shells. We went to an amazing roadside idli place which served awesome steaming hot big idlies and delicious sambar. We went to a couple of mandir and saw the Brahmins conducting pujas, it was a really great view into the normal outi of the bubble Indian life. Pleasant, tasty and peaceful. Highly recommend it.

Culture walk with great food and coffee - It was a great walking tour. I felt like it was absolutely worth the time and cost. I particularly enjoyed the Temple of Shiva in the middle of Malleswaram and talking to Ravi about the meaning of the icons and statues. It also seemed like he had chosen very good locations for the food and coffee. The coffee seemed a bit better and the food was also excellent. Ravi was an excellent conversationalist and very easy to talk to.

Good solo tour - Had a great time, the tour guide was very accommodating and helpful. If you are not familiar with the city I would recommend getting the pickup included but otherwise it is a good way to taste the real food of the area!

Great overview of Bangalore food & drink - A great tour - Prashant was in touch beforehand to arrange meeting location, and did a great job of explaining the traditions behind the dishes we ate. He was happy to answer any and all questions about that broader social and historical context, and I feel my trip to Bangalore was much better because of this. Would highly recommend.

Great tour of local favorite eateries and deep historical knowledge - Loved the open butter dosas at New Krishna Bhavan which has been around for over 60 years. Also enjoyed walking the extensive grounds at Lalbagh park. Our guide Divakar taught us the deep history of the various places that I walked away knowing Bangalore and it’s people very well.

Food/Temple Tour - This tour was one of the first things we did once we arrived in Bangalore. As a strategy we always book a walking food tour when we are visiting a new place for the first time. Our tour guide was Hareesh and he was fantastic, we were able to go to 3 food places and 2 temples. I would describe this as a food tour/ temple tour. We have breakfast, fruit smoothies, lunch, and Coffee. We had an entire separate experience for a temple tour and Hareesh was more thorough and detailed when taking us to the temples than our other tour guide. In addition to this we were able to talk with Hareesh to get more recommendations for the rest of our trip. as well as taking us to the ATM so we could withdraw cash and finding a bank so we could make change and have smaller bills. I highly recommend doing this tour as soon as you get to Bangalore!

Great food and culture walking tour! - Great Tour! Harish is a very friendly and gentle guide, who takes you along very savory dishes, vegetable, fruit and flower stalls. Has knowledge about the products and the historie of the part of town. He interprets our questions to the locals. We also visit a temple with lots of explanation and invitation to Puja, offering of flowers, candle and fruit. I defeinatly will use 5senseswalks.com when I'm back in Bangeluru and other parts of India.

Food walk on Sunday morning - I was in bangalore on work and had only a Sunday morning free. Luckily this food walk was available for Sunday morning. I had a fabulous time savoring all the south Indian snacks. Harish led the walk and is a great guy and foodie. I had masala dosa, idly vada sambar, mangalore bonda, sugarcane juice and the quintessential 4 yards filter coffee. We also walked past colourful bazaars and visited 2 ancient temples. It turned out to be a great Sunday morning.
