• Chickpet - We pick up the guests at 6:00 PM from Chikpete metro station and start the tour with a 30-minute visit to Chikpete Market. • KR Market - KR Market, also known as Krishnarajendra Market, is one of Bangalore’s oldest and most vibrant markets, dating back to the 1920s. Named after Maharaja Krishnarajendra Wodeyar, the market was built on the site of a former fort and battlefield. It’s famous for being one of the largest wholesale flower markets in Asia, offering a colorful array of flowers, spices, fresh produce, and traditional goods. The market is a bustling hub that reflects the city’s rich history and culture, making it a fascinating spot for an evening stroll and a glimpse into Bangalore’s past.
• Bangalore Fort - After visiting KR Market, we will walk toward the metro station and see Bangalore Fort from the outside. The fort is closed by 5 PM, so we will view it from an external vantage point. Built by Kempegowda I in the 16th century and later fortified by Hyder Ali in the 18th century, the fort played a significant role in the region’s military history. Its impressive structure and historical significance make it a fascinating landmark in Bangalore.
• V. V. Puram Food Street - Walk through VV Puram Food Street, also known as Thindi Beedi, a renowned culinary hotspot in Bangalore. Established in the early 1980s, this vibrant street began with a few vendors selling traditional South Indian snacks and sweets.
