Unforgettable and very well organised - We booked this very easily online through TripAdviser. Within minutes Sam contacted us with full details of the journey and requesting further information. It was reassuring to have such a rapid response. The driver, Dinesh was extremely professional and helpful and everything went according to plan. This is a great one day trip and a memorable experience. I can’t recommend Bentota Travel highly enough.

Wonderful trip - Sam arranged a wonderful trip for us and was very thorough in providing all details beforehand. Everything was well planned and timed. The particular highlight was the train trip from Dermodara to Haputale. The scenery was stunning. Thank you Bentota Travel!

Ella - First and foremost we could change the date of our trip on a short notice which we were very thankful for. The day was closely planned for us to enjoy it as much as possible and our driver Chamika made sure everything worked smoothly.

Perfect - This is the perfect way to visit a few key sites if you're short on time. In one day we got to visit a waterfall, the nine arches bridge, Ella and little Adam's Peak. It was perfect! Prot Tip: bring a change of clothes.

Train Ride, Waterfall, Tea Plantation and Lunch - Both myself and husband enjoyed this trip. Got picked up at 4am and returned around 4pm. The driver was experienced and you could see he wasn't nodding off like previous drivers we have had. He picked us both up on time and drove us to Ella, where we took a small tuk tuk ride to view Adams Peak. Stopping off at a waterfall on route where we were able to take a few photos. We then got on a train ride from Demdora to Huptula, which lasted about 1 1/2 hrs and stopped at nine arch bridges, again another photo shoot. The scenery and train ride was really lovely. After being collected at Huptula we went to the tea factory and saw the process of how tea leaves are plucked by both hand and machine. Then saw all the processes to make into tea and had a special tasting. Afterwards we travelled home through scenic Ella and had lunch. The lunch was nice and views stunning. A lovely day and would recommend this trip. It was a little more money than a lot of other trips but again just me and my husband in a toyota car with experienced driver. And you were not taken to other touristy places. Definitely recommend it!

Highly recommended 👌🏾 - Amazing trip which started with a 4am pick up so that we could make the trip to Ella to view the waterfall and monkeys before it got too busy. Nine arch Bridge was amazing with our tuk tuk driver taking lots of photos for us. Mini/Little Adam's Peak was a challenging climb, but well worth it. Tea Plantation and tour of the factory was fascinating. The highlight for me was the train ride. I would highly recommend this excursion, but wear appropriate footwear as it can get muddy.

Magical Experience - This was a magical experience from start to finish, memories for a lifetime❤️ We were well taken care of by our driver Pasidu and a very kind man who drove us with tuktuk to where we were supposed to. Good arrangement, so recommend and book this trip so you sit with good memories for the rest of your life

Beautiful trip but bad guide - It was great to get up the mountains and see the beautiful areas of Ella. Our guide wasn't very good at English, so it wasn't much info we got from him. He did not understand what we asked about and could only very basic English. We felt that was quite unfortunate, as we wanted to know a little more about the various sights and culture in Sri Lanka, as well as what was going to happen. Unfortunately, it pulls down for us. The food included is a buffet at a hotel, and it wasn’t really good for us. Be aware that you yourself have to pay for drinks even if it says that it is all inclusive. The tour of the tea factory was quickly over, as the tour operator rushed through everything in poor English. The tea tasting was also not nice, as you just got a spoonful of tea of 4 different kinds. The things you see on the trip were beautiful and the train trip was the highlight of the day, even though it was 1.5 hours late. Overall, the trip was good, but there were a number of things that could have been much better.
