A M A Z I N G - Ricky (driver) met me spot on 2AM at my hotel and was super friendly and helpful throughout the whole day. Jamil (guide) absolutely made the day. As much as going up the volcano to see the stunning vista, drinking jamu, visiting hot spring baths and the local market is all incredible, it was his charisma and charm that made the trip. Memories are made with people and he and Ricky made my trip. Thank you very much to you both. Highly recommend!

Great hike and beautiful scenery - I truly enjoy the hike up to the top at Moung Sibayak after working through the tropical jungle terrain for an hour. Its a breathtaking sight to see of both Medan city and Berstagi city from the top for the sunrise view of the cities. Although the trip took 2 hours to get there...its worth the wait gor the scenery. Thanks the team for bringing me for this trip! Much appreciated! ❤️

wonderful personalised experience - Had Anggi as our guide and he was so knowledgeable and lovely. Trek was a bit more rugged than expected but nothing we couldn't manage, we were the first people at the peak at it was so serene. loved his personal touch, brought us to places we wanted to see including a coffee shop in Berastagi. really enjoyed his knowledge of the land, culture, volcanoes and even ghosts. 100% recommend :)

Perfect trip with warm guide & driver - Super organized tour with a friendly driver and guide. Uncle Mike picked us up on time in Medan and brought us safely through the chaotic traffic of Sumatra to Bergastagi. Our guide Anggi was already waiting for us there and we started our climb up Mount Si ayak. Anggi explained a lot to us about nature, the volcano, the surroundings and also had a few funny stories about the volcano. Once we got to the top, he made us a coffee, with super delicious cookies, homemade by his sister :) and we were able to enjoy the sunrise. Anggi was always careful to ensure that we always had the best view and never ended up in a place where tourists gather. That was super pleasant and we were able to enjoy everything in peace. After the descent, we spent some time in Bergastagi, visiting two markets. Here, too, Anggi was always careful to give us the best insight, while at the same time ensuring that we felt safe and had a great experience. Thank you very much for the great trip.

Totally Worth It - Totally worth it! First, the hike is challenging, but not too difficult. Make sure that you wear good footwear and prepare for them to probably get a bit muddy. At least mine did. It’s 3km to the top and the view is really quite remarkable. But also the journey is quite fun as well. Konong was the best guide. Ask for him if you can. He took some great pics and had a wonderful outgoing personality. Ricky was a great driver too.

Great day at Sibayak and Berastagi - The driver Mike picked us up at the front of our motel in the early morning and expertly drove us to Berastagi in comfort where our guide Argi (sorry probably have spelling wrong) us. They both speak good English. The hike was fantastic, but please don’t forget good walking shoes, head torch, a jacket for the top and a good camera. Views are amazing under the background of the hissing volcano. The hot springs were a great way to relax after the walk and Berastagi fruit and vegetable markets were very good. Highly recommend if you have a spare day in Medan.

Terima Kasih Anggi and Noosan! - Anggi and Noosan are phenomenal guides and we had the best time with them! They were full of knowledge of the local area and answered all our questions, and we even got a peformance of country road on the guitar by Anggi on our way back down! We got to the top in plenty of time for the sunrise (it was freezing - bring warm clothes) had coffee and croissants and had more than enough time at the top to see the sun rise and take in the view. The rest of the day was super great as well - they are very happy to change schedule according to your needs and the driver was very friendly too! Seamless transport from start to finish - loved it!

Horrible experience - DO NOT TRUST THIS TOUR! We booked and paid for a private tour with a 5-8 hour duration as listed in the description. Instead we were put in a 7-person tour; don’t get me wrong, this wouldn’t normally be a problem. But IT IS NOT WHAT WE BOUGHT. Also, since we had to wait for everyone on the trail, we missed the sunrise. The first half of the tour lasted 10 hours (the hike) and to reach the waterfalls we still needed 2 hours of driving + 4 to go back to Medan for a grand total of 18 hours of tour. This is a COMPLETELY different thing.
