Into the Heart of Osum Canyon

The sun was just beginning to rise as I found myself in the charming town of Berat, a place that had long been on my radar for its vibrant nightlife and rich history. As we drove past the old weapon factories, our guide Igi regaled us with tales of the town’s past, painting a vivid picture of a time when this place was at the heart of Albania’s industrial efforts. Before heading back to Berat, we stopped in the village of Bogova for a taste of local cuisine. The flavors were bold and vibrant, a reflection of the rich cultural tapestry that is Albania.
