We had an incredible time driving from Munich to the Eagles Nest, Hallstatt, and back. Despite heavy traffic, Shpendi got us to the tour and worked directly with the bus drivers to get us on the next trip up to the Eagles Nest. Got our entire tour back on track! Throughout the day, Shpendi provided great stories and history as well as great conversations and recommendations on the best way to enjoy the sites. Best of all, I was able to relax and watch the amazing German and Austrian countrysides without the stress of driving, navigating, and meeting timelines. The Eagles Nest is a definite go-see site, if you have other options than Hallstatt consider them, looked and felt like a total tourist trap. He spoke English and German very well. Along the way, we made a number of stops with viewpoints, where Eagles Nest and the salt mines. The Königssee was beautiful, highly recommended! In short, a great day with a very nice tour guide!
