The best fjord day cruise - We booked this in England ahead. Actually we then became nervous about the weather forecast so we suggest you book this cruise once you know the weather. So this is the best. Silent slow cruise up into the Aurlandsfjord and onto Naeroyfjord. So spectacular and the boat was very comfortable and good decks for being outside. We took the return journey back on the boat as we were unable to book the bus on line. We were glad we did. Going back you see it all differently. The only gripe is when you arrive at the final destination Gudvangen you have to queue to get back on the boat to get a seat for your return. We took some food but had a hot dog and coffee from the boat cafe. There isn’t a lot of choice.

Beauty that takes your breath away. - No photo or video will do justice to the beauty of these fjords, recognized as UNESCO Historic Heritage. We were blessed with a sunny day, the further we advanced aboard an electric boat, the more moved we were by the natural beauty of the fjords with their intact nature and surfaces covered in ice. A day I will never forget.

Check! - We did the tour from Gudvangen to Flam. We didn't know what to expect but the views were stunning, also the little stops to let people in and out. You got a good look at the villages around the fjord. A minus was a lot of certain people on board. They left there things on the seats and claimed it was theirs and went out. Very antisocial and annoying. We didn't bother and put their stuff aside but there were people who don't dare to do this. The staff should do something about it. It is an expensive tour, so perhaps a seat reservation system will make a difference.
