Highlights
- Bergen - We depart from Bergen city center, watching the UNESCO World Heritage Site Bryggen from the seaside with the beautiful backdrop of the seven mountains surrounding the city, including Mount Flöyen and Mount Ulriken.
- Nordhordland Bridge - We are passing under this large floating bridge on our way to the fjords
- Osterfjorden - You get to the Osterfjord after 1 hour cruise. We pass under the Nordhordland Bridge, the world’s seventh longest pontoon bridge, and continue up the 27-km long Osterfjord. Watch the landscape change from the low-lying coastal landscape of the coast to the deep fjords innermost in the Osterfjord, surrounded by majestic mountains.
- Mostraumen - Bergen - Nice waterfalls, narrow fjords, nice restaurant for lunch.
Possibility for waterfall shower. Great spectacular nature with high mountains and waterfals.
- Mo - Up in the end of the fjord we can stop for a swim in the fjord, maybe under the waterfall? Bring your swimsuit, we have towels and warm shower onboard.
We can dock in the village of Mo for a break, where you can have lunch at the small local cafe and explore the village on your own. No other tours stop in Mo, so this is a great opportunity.
Enjoy the quietness and nice nature during this full day cruise. As your host we will do our utmost to give you a memorable experience!

Embark on an exclusive journey to Modalen, immersing yourself in the beauty of Fjords and cascades, launching just beyond the doorstep of your Bergen hotel.
We set sail from Bergen, behold the cityscape from the coastal vantage point, gloriously framed by towering landmarks such as Fløyen and Ulriken.
As we leisurely navigate the fjords escaping from Bergen, the bustling city vibes gently transition to a tranquility marked by untouched landscapes. We venture into the tight distant fjords, home to quaint hamlets and stunning waterfalls. Don’t worry about the rain, it merely adds drama to the cascading water.
Amidst our fjord journey, we will stop by a waterfall that feeds directly into the fjord and our vessel, offering you an opportunity to shower under the falling water, or simply sample the crystal-clear water. Depending upon your interest, we can anchor at the scenic Mo village for a breather. Here, you can enjoy a summertime lunch at a local cafe, or just wander about the village at leisure.
Alternatively, if you prefer, we can arrange for lunch to be served right onboard our vessel.
Please note that our evening cruises (set at 6PM) are slightly shorter, ensuring we return around 11.

Winter wonderland cruise - We did the cruise in January, when it was real winter in Bergen, snow in the city and ice on the fjord.
The boat was great, with heated salon, but we still sat upstairs in the winter weather, quite cold, but refreshing, with wool blankets and hot tea and coffee. We went indoor from time to time to get some heat, but the view from top was amazing, so we mostly enjoyed the cruise from there.
The fjord was frozen and covered with ice when we got close to the inner end, due to less salt, and mostly fresh water. So we didn`t get all the way inn, but an amazing experience with the winter wonderland of the Norwegian fjords.
We enjoyed pre-ordered lunch with various shellfish, and wine onboard the yacht in between the icebergs.

Fantastic winter-cruise - Fantastic winter-cruise to a fjord covered in winter colors and ice.
Since we did the cruise in January it was cold in Bergen, but the yacht was warm inside anyway. We had a great time onboard, with a lovely and caring captain.
Since it was so cold the fjord was frozen when we got close to the end, but that was amazing, a great experience for the whole family. We got the offer to go ice bathing, but no thanks, too cold for us....
A lovely cruise, reccomended both summer as winter.

Fabulous day on the water! - Had the most special day celebrating my Husbands birthday on this beautiful private yacht. The day was cool but sunny as we enjoyed the sailing to Modal. Quaint little town with beautiful waterfalls surrounding the area.
Iselin helped coordinate all the catered and even picked up all food that I wanted. She even suggested the best bakery for a bday cake.
Our captain Karsten was wonderful and very kind, helpful and full of informative information about the area. The yacht was kept in perfect condition, very clean and comfortable. Thank you for making our day memorable.

Go for it - Great daytrip on the fjords.
We came to Norway to explore fjords, and went to most of them: Hardanger fjord, Sognefjord, Geiranger. However this private cruise was an excellent choice, and worth the price. It`s great to have the boat for yourself for a day, and you can do as you like. We asked for a specific start time, and were also back in the city correspinging to our dinner reservation for the evening.
We had ordered lunch from a restaurant to be brought onboard as well, and enjoyed lobster with excellent wine under some waterfalls and great mountains.
All great, we loved it.

You have to do it!! - We had this cruise in June, and we absolutely loved it!! Started just a few steps from the hotelk in Bergen, and welcomed by a smiling captain on a great boat.
We had the boat available the whole day, and cruised up the fjords untill lunchtime, where we had booked a seafood buffet to enjoy on the boat. Having this buffet with fresh seafood up in the fjords was a great experience, which will never be forgotten. Wine was included in the cruise, from start to end.
Great nature around us, with mountains and waterfalls, lovely boat, exceptional service, and a highlight of our Europe-vacation. We absolutely reccommend it.

Personal yacht on the Fjords of Norway - I cannot describe how special our day was. The yacht felt safe and was comfortable. Our Captain made us feel at home from the moment we stepped aboard and was attendant to our every need. As a family this was an unforgettable day and we recommend anyone to do this.

Great Day on Fantastic Boat - Our family of 5 rented a 50' motor boat staffed with a captain to tour some fjords outside of bergen. This was a full day trip and we ended up staying on the boat from 9:30am to about 6pm. The views were gorgeous, the captain was very good and capable and having the boat on our own was fantastic. The highlight of the trip, beyond the views and the overall experience, was the food which we had ordered through the charter company. The food came from a well known seafood restaurant in Bergen and was of excellent quality. The boat provided drinks for the children and the adults. Something to do...

Fantastic private cruise on the fjords of Norway - Fantastic private cruise on the fjords of Norway, with a lovely boat and outstanding captain. A great day, highly recommended.
With start in the midle of the city the cruise is easy to find, and the captain wish you welcome when you arrive. Having a boat like this all by yourself for a whole day is a perfect way to explore the fjords, and we had the best day of our vacation.
Flexible time for return to Bergen, and you can enjoy the cruise for as long as it suits you.

Perfect Day - This was one of our favorite days in Norway! The yacht is beautiful and the captain was friendly and made us feel completely comfortable and safe the entire time. Since the trip is private, you're really able to do what you want at the speed you want. We enjoyed a leisurely day on the water and the fjords were absolutely beautiful! Would book this again the next time we're in Bergen!
