Great staff, so much fun! Very interactive with the customers - I visited with my 19yr son. I was so excited to visit and the Berlin Dungeon definitely lived up to my expectations. The staff was very friendly. Great actors and actresses. They played their parts as the psychotic medieval characters perfectly. They got the people of our group involved which was a lot of fun. A lot of jump scares. I screamed so much that I think they targeted me more. I highly recommend this place.

Berlin Dungeon ü Madame Tussauds - Worth a visit! - This ticket combo is highly recommended.
We first went to the Berlin Dungeon. It was scary, but acceptable. The actors and staff did a great job. We were well entertained for about an hour. The highlight is the actors' involvement with the visitors. The historical background is far in the background. So you can't expect a museum.
Then we went to Madame Tussauds. The very beautiful wax figures are fantastic to look at and take photos of.
You should experience both at least once. But it is not necessary to do it more often.

Had so much potential... - I was very looking forward to visiting the Berlin Dungeons after having been a few similar attractions elsewhere, but I left disappointed.
Although the actors were very good and put together a good show, there was nothing special. The attraction consists of various 5-10 minute sketches that have no correlation between them. Also there was nothing overly specific to Berlin which added to the disappointed.
For me, the attraction should focus on one or two Berlin specific gruesome stories and develop the experience on them. For instance, towards the end, you meet The Butcher, a very intriguing character because you never meet him. I left wanting to know/experience more about this character as it was towards the end of the attraction and felt very rushed.

A SCAM - Do not book the combination tickets through Viator because the Berlin Dungeon only offers English tours at 12:30, 2:30, and 4:30 p.m. and those are not offered as timeslots for the combination tours. This also applies to the combination ticket for Berlin Dungeon, SEAlife Berlin, and Madame Tussauds. Viator will also not give you a refund for the fact that their trip listing does not offer these timeslots nor the information that there are only three times that english led experiences are offered by Berlin Dungeons.
