Visit Gendarmenmarket in Berlin for a superb Christmas Market experience - Berlin has fantastic Christmas markets! The Gendarmenmarket Christmas market is unique and special. Beautiful stands, lots of original decorations and handmade items. Best of all, numerous ways to get out of the freezing cold because it has indoors arts and crafts stands and indoor restaurants where you can sit down if you don’t want to stand outside to nosh on Wursts and drink Gluwein.

Christmas market foods - a must try - We organized a private tour as we were in Berlin on a day the regular tour wasn’t running, and it didn’t disappoint! Our guide Tiago was amazing! We went to 2 Christmas markets that were not overly touristy and tried lots of different foods plus some gluwein. We tried foods that we wouldn’t have picked on our own, all fresh, a good size portion and delicious! Thanks F&W, we will be back!

Good way to see the markets - For context. From plane to hotel, drop bags, walk to meeting point. Guide was engaging and informative. 7 of us in total contour, good company. Tried all the good and drink, not all to our tastes but when in Rome (Berlin) ... Underground and tram easy enough. 4 hours, 3 markets, 7 dishes, 2 drinks. All good
