Fantastic experience! - My friends and I had an amazing time on this tour. Cliff was an excellent host, not only was he full of interesting facts and history of beer in Germany, but also about the history of beer in general. We all learned so much and were fascinated by the information he offered, and felt really comfortable due to his laid back and friendly manner. He really made us feel like valued guests and made the afternoon feel like a social event rather than just a service! The wide range of beers we got to taste was fantastic, and all really high quality premium beers. I got to try types of beer I'd never even heard of before, such as a smoked beer, which was awesome. We also had some delicious pizza at the start of the tour. The bars Cliff took us to were really cool, so much so we went back to the area the following day, discovering more bars that we otherwise may not have found, thanks Cliff! If you're visiting Berlin, and like beer, then it's a no brainer. Book!

Good Experience, Excellent Guide - Clif was very knowledgeable and a great teacher of how craft beer is made and how it was established in Berlin. He has a calm and welcoming demeanor and was a pleasure to hang out with for 3 hours. The pizza was excellent, but the beers were hit and miss. Good portion of beer to try as well. We tried a guava-esq tasting beer, chocolatey-malt beer, as well as more traditional Hefeweizens and IPAs. Unfortunately I didn’t like half of them. There were 7 different beers we got to taste in 3 different places in a great “locals only” part of Berlin. Not your traditional German beer tasting, but a great experience nonetheless.

Crafty - Definitely nice to try something unique and different rather than the typical German beers. Our very first beer was by far the best, and it was great to have someone so knowledgeable as our guide
