Highlights
  • Vive Berlin Tours - The tour with an Italian guide starts at the meeting point of Potsdamer Platz no. 10 (S/U-Bahn Potsdamer Platz). Look for the blue bicycle by VIVE BERLIN TOURS, you will easily recognize the flag with our logo!
  • Potsdamer Platz - One of the most famous and certainly, the most modern, squares in Berlin and an excellent starting point for the Italian tour to discover the best of the German capital. The guide will introduce you to the history of Berlin and show you the great and tragic changes of the city.
  • Sony Center - You’ll be impressed as you enter into the Sony Center building and you will see how some of the remains of the ancient square destroyed during World War II have been preserved and blend in with the building’s contemporary architecture.
  • Topography of Terror - Together with the guide, you will visit this symbolic place in Berlin and understand how the Nazi dictatorship is remembered today, exactly where the headquarters of the Gestapo and SS were located.
From here you can also see buildings such as the former Nazi aviation ministry, the beautiful Martin Gropius Bau museum and, especially, an original segment of the Berlin Wall.
  • Checkpoint Charlie - Surely this place in Berlin was for a time the hottest point of the Cold War. The guide will talk about the construction of the Berlin Wall and the division of the city in the time of the communist dictatorship.
  • Detlev-Rohwedder-Haus - This huge and imposing building was built by the Nazi dictatorship to house the offices of the Ministry of Aviation led by Goering. At the time of the Cold War it was the ‘home of the ministries’ of the Communist dictatorship. Today it is used as a ministry by the Federal Republic of Germany.
  • Fuhrerbunker - The place where the Bunker was and where Hitler spent his last days. With the guide you will understand the meaning of the place and the reasons for its present.
  • The Holocaust Memorial - Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe - You will be impressed by the stories that the guide will tell you in this place of great emotion. A symbol in Berlin to remember the greatest crime committed by the German state in the time of Nazism.
  • Reichstag Building - The seat of the German Parliament. Visit only outside, the guide will be pleased to explain how to book a visit to the dome of the building.
  • Brandenburg Gate - The most famous gateway to Berlin. One of the city’s landmarks and the most photographed by visitors. The guide will tell you the story of the Brandenburg Gate, from the symbol of a king’s strength to that of the Cold War, to become one of the symbols of German reunification.
  • Unter den Linden - You will walk through this great avenue, once the access road to the emperor’s palace. The guide will show you how to recognize the various periods of construction and the wounds left by the war.
  • Bebelplatz - The square of the burning of books during the Nazi dictatorship but also the square where there is the seat of the famous Humboldt University and the Catholic Cathedral.
  • Book Burning Memorial at Bebelplatz - Discover, thanks to the guide’s narrations, the monument that remembers the sadly famous burning of books during the Nazi dictatorship: a propaganda action remembered today in a very significant memorial placed in the center of the square.
  • Humboldt University (Humboldt Universitat) - Get to know the history of this very important university and find out who its most famous students have been.
  • Neue Wache - A memorial at the rejection of war and its horrors: a mother cries her son, a soldier who fell in battle.
  • Berliner Dom - In the idea of the emperor who had it built, this impressive church must have been the equivalent of St. Peter’s for the Luetrana religion.
  • Museum Island - The most known island of Berlin, UNESCO World Heritage Site. The guide will finish the tour in one of the most famous places in Berlin and will give you all the directions to continue to visit the city in the best possible way. At the end of this tour you will have understood the soul of a city so complicated by such an exciting and tragic history.

Fantastic and very knowledgeable guide! - We had flexible tours that suited our interests! Roberto illustrated the city in its evolution on many levels, moving from history to architecture and moving with ease on the various cultural levels. A continuous discovery of stories and anecdotes that are never banal for those who, having already seen Berlin several times, retrace it with the new generation who are not easy to charm!

A guide who conveys the emotions of the city. I recommend the tour as soon as you arrive. - The guide, Antonella, was able to involve and convey the emotions of the places visited in Berlin. Competent and attentive to the personal needs of the group members, she managed to spend 3 wonderful hours wandering around the city. Even my teenage children, who usually don't like guides, were favorably impressed. The tour touches on the essential and well-known elements of Berlin. I suggest doing it as soon as you arrive because then you understand the soul and history of the city much better. I highly recommend.

Splendid Experience - Our short stay in Berlin was interesting and exciting thanks to the guide (Paolo Brasioli) who was learned but also full of nice anecdotes...; his passion for the history of the city and his professional skills made us appreciate the city in a way we couldn't have done with the support of a simple tourist guide!

A quick immersion in the tragedy of Nazism and the Cold War. - We did two three-hour tours in two days of verses, namely "Third Reich" and "Indispensable Berlin", the first with Fabio and the second with Franca. Both were very interesting, the guides demonstrated excellent communication skills, adequate preparation and a lot of courtesy and friendliness. We were really satisfied.

Berlin in a few hours - We were a group of 11 people, our guide Franca was super good, a young girl and very communicative. He was able to make the 3 hour visit light, but with great professionalism, trying to compact the story and creating a thread even for those like us who knew almost nothing about the city. Really very good. I'm sorry not to try other tours 😅. See you next time 😃
