Immersive Pergamon at Dionysian Festival time - This was a surprisingly wonderful experience given the regular exhibits at the Pergamon museum were closed. The panorama gave us an up close look at life in ancient times. There’s so much detail and so much to look at. The best part is how the audioguide provided Context with how the Pergamon alter fit into the rest of the city. How it was used, and what would be happening during a Dionysian festival. That along with the reconstruction process showing us what they found and what they had to add in order for us to view the whole as it what have once been. I had no idea that these white sculptures could have been painted in full color at one time.
