Compelling experience - Must do. Eye opening experience. Our tour guide Roshana was extremely knowledgeable and approachable, and ensured we were comfortable enough to ask any questions. Would highly recommend.

Sachenhausen Guided Tour - Roshanna was a great guide, extremely knowledgeable as a historian and went in depth on alot of topics about the concentration camp/WWII. I consider myself an avid learner of all things WWII and even she taught me facts that I was not aware of. I would recommend this tour. Ofc it's something then be self-guided but you will miss alot of facts if you do so. Highly recommend.

Great tour - The beginning of the month we went on this tour and cannot recommend it enough. Our guide I think he’s name was Ricard (sorry might be wrong) was amazing, so helpful throughout the tour and very knowledgeable about much more than just the camp. Speaking to people who didn’t take a tour it is well worth it as we found out so much more information having a guide.

Time limited but overall a very informative tour - The. Guide tells you all about the displays inside the museum etc but there is little time to read or look at photos etc due to the time limit therefore my suggestion would be to extend this tour by 1 hour so that we can have more time on site at sachsenhausen to look around by ourselves or get a coffee etc. The guide Roslana had excellent knowledge and was prepared to answer any questions.

Fantastic Guide, Well-Maintained Site - Overall extremely informative. Our guide Roshana was very knowledgeable about not only this particular concentration camp, but was able to discuss the wider historical context, the structure of the concentration camp system, and how the purpose of the camp changed over time, providing unparalleled insight into the holocaust as a whole. There wasn’t really time to look at some of the museums, which I would have liked to do, but for the time we had blocked it was very dense with different locations and information. The location itself had some decent sights, many original buildings were intact, although it could be hard to visualize what it would have looked like at the time and while occupied due to the lack of photos.

Good if you are on a tight schedule - We had gone on an excellent tour with this company for the Berlin city highlights, but this tour to the Memorial was not as informative. We felt very rushed through the Memorial and were only given 10 minutes to look at the bunkhouse, and 5 minutes for the main exhibits. Sometimes she would suggest we could use the WC when there was only 2-3 mins before the bus or train was to arrive, which was not practical for a tour with 20 people. The tour was advertised as 7 hours, but we were back within 6. If you want someone to help you get to the site, and to just look at a few highlights, then you won't be disappointed. It is a very huge place to navigate, so the tour is good if you are on a tight schedule. Mainly I thought that the information shared during the tour was very minimal. While it was possible to understand the guide, English did not seem to be her first language. However, she was a good guide and worked very hard to keep the group together. She was very friendly and kept offering to answer any questions.

Scam - We went to the meeting place. We waited almost 45 minutes but neither the guide nor the bus driver showed up. We tried to call the agency several times and they kept telling us that they would look into it and call us back but we never heard back. We ended up taking a taxi with the other members of the group to get to the place and do the tour on our own. It has now been 3 weeks and despite numerous emails, calls and text messages, to date we have had no response, no explanation or no refund. Scandalous.
